Whats Up With The Auto Parts Shortage, Why Are Truck Parts Hardest To Find & How Long Will You Wait?

I've worked in a large auto parts retailer for 20 years. Before Covid, I could get parts for sixty year old cars with no problem. Now I can't get stuff for ten year old cars. The manufacture's don't care about having coverage across the board. They are only making parts that they will sell quick.

I've been waiting over 3 months for radiator on a '22 Silverado. Dealership says the same thing part delayed with no ETA.
