there's possibility Tom lied about his wife to this new family so they didn't get worried about some "psycho lady" showing up (not that they likely cared) Tom seems like the money solves everything type including his kid's affection
OP isn't wrong in the slightest she is just a kid stuck in a tough break up situation where on one side the dad cheated (which who knows if it was to get back at the mom for cheating since she was cheating on her new husband) and on the other side Mom pushing too hard for a blended family while chaos unfolded due to everyone not being on board like you can't speed run blending a family you have to ease into it even then it might not go easy.

I’m sorry, but OP is a bad daughter. I know many people will disagree, but she is. The dad cheated, straight out , and she sided with him. I get that they were closer than with the mom, but she was working to provide for her while the dad was basically a part timer to “spend time with the kids” - I don’t buy it, he was just lazy . The mom pushed the blanded family too fast , yes , but it was not malicious. And OP should have understood that.
