My ideal line up: Nana Jihan Bora Jiwon Yeeun Yeoreum Hwiseo/Dohwa/Yeonhee/Yuki/Riina - I don’t have a set 7th place but any of these girls will do for me.
I was waiting for them to show their preparation for the semi-finals esp because one member of i do will tranfer to idga but nope it was just a replay of previous eps. What a waste of time.
As soon as Taeyeon said this would be a special episode I just knew it would recap so I didn’t even watch it. Then I saw online ppl saying the ENTIRE episode was recap, like I couldn’t believe it. So I went to the episode and I skipped to the last two minutes for the current ranks. Like you, I was genuinely shocked. Bora, Jiwon and Riina being in potential eliminated section shocked me the most. Like damn will Jiwon and Bora ever catch a break? They keep trying and I want them to succeed in a survival show for once without getting eliminated.
Bora isnt only the effect of bad editing, but she never picks concepts she suits, she keeps going for dark concepts she doesnt suit to try prove something, but unlike Jihan who did well in those, Bora has never, she was forgettable in all, I remember I barely remembered her in the web dance but I remembered all the others and she wore like shorts and it just looked off and cringe
exactly, Bora's only good stages where the first one, DTNA (although Yeonhee outshone everyone else) and the one with Kei which was amazing vocally but wasn't the type of stage that would make idol fans go crazy
Honestly it ticks me off when people say Bora didn't fit the concept etc etc. There's a clear difference between not fitting the concept and not shining the best onstage with that concept, and Bora is the latter. In the show EVERY girl has 1-2 stages where she doesn't shine the brightest, because it's near impossible to shine #1 in every single stage, with them switching from concept to concept. But with Bora haters be like: She's not the most eye catching in this stage = she's got bad presence + not versatile + not adaptable etc
I have consistently been voting for Hwiseo, Nana, Yuki, Dohwa and Yeonhee the final two spots have been switching between Suyun, Jihan, Fye, Jiwon, Elly and Kei. Here is my reasoning. Hwiseo, Nana and Yuki are the only three in the competition with some sort of superstar potential. They are given. But they do need a good leader. That is Dohwa. I have a huge soft spot for Yeonhee. She is vercatile and goes through the screen really well. If she doesn't have to be the leader (as in Rocket Punch) I believe she will be more relaxed ,quirky and very funny. They would need a main vocal. Right now that is Elly for me...might change. Then I'm very torn on the last spot between Suyun and Fye.
@@bernardsih5987 I think you drew that conclusion all by yourself. I can't see I used the name Yeeun or the word boring anywhere. I love Yeeun, just do not want to see her in the final lineup.
I really hope Dohwa get the chance to redebut. Her leadership is really impressive with Snap and the remix battle when she helped Fye and its cute to see both bonded so well. Other than that I really hope Hwiseo, Yuki, Kei & Yeoreum get the debut. Rina is also on my watch list, her presence is so crazy especially her eye gaze. Bora has the potential, but mnet did her dirty and she kinda self-sabotaged during the Snap mission.
i was like this should be a special episode, not an episode 8 tho... and tbh both Web and Bad Blood do not suit Bora's image as shes being shadowed by stronger idols, she should go with Underwater but her team ady chose Bad Blood and Web.. plus i think Puzzle team would win with all songs coz of the members popularity
She wasn't too shocking to me because I've noticed Mnet giving her less and less screen time since the first mission :/ it feels too reminiscent of GP999

Honestly, imho, Bora should be better off being a musical actress. Not looking down on her talent, but it should be better be appreciated and used somewhere.

I sadly did waste my time watching this episode, I was on vacation and tried to watch it live...I literally got yelled at my mom for being on my phone too much...and for what???? I wish they had shown some of the practice for the semifinal songs
They stream live every Tuesday on Mnet's channel! For the older episodes I've heard Viki has them but they're geoblocked in some countries (same as the livestream) but you could try looking it up on google or twitter

I feel a bit pissed when people dun see their faves in the top seven and keep saying, so-and-so doesnt deserved her place, its rigged. Like, what the hell have you done for your faves so that she can get top seven. Besides, four of the top seven have been idols for a period enough to garner a huge backing of a fandom….
