What was the long metal tool you used to get the spark plugs out

It’s a retrieving tool. You can find them at an auto parts store. They have ones with little claws or magnetic.

I'm having a miss fire on mine and it the same car, the computer said it was cylinder 6 you think it ok to use an aftermarket coil or try to get original

I used after market coils in mine.
