Although I loved that Voodoo album, I had no idea he was THIS good on piano too....his timing and chord voicings are transcendent

It was SURPRISING for him i think!!! Like "in France, people remind my songs from 12years!!!??? COOOOOL!". I was here and i'll never forget this medley moment ever!!! He was very shy but we saw that it seemed very touched and happy to feel "that" again, especially far from home! ;)

I like how he teases us with his music and not with his body, especially at around 9:10 all he has to play is one note and everyone goes crazy.

@@StefveoX He is 48, and unfortunately he's been close to dying a few times (including a horrible car accident). He's a musical genius, but a tormented soul who struggled a lot.
I hope he's okay and I wish he'd release more music and tour...
He is proof positive that not only do all good and perfect gifts come from God. BUT that nothing he has done has reduced his skill in the least. The spiritual gift that this man possesses is astounding. Hard not to think of him spiritually the way his voice and chords touch my spirit.

I always come back to this video and am amazed at his piano playing. How structured and improvised it is. Just saw him in Atlanta on June 14 and he was incredible. Wish he had done a small set like this at the end, but the concert was beyond my expectations. He and the Vanguard played the hell outta those songs. I was thoroughly impressed and will be seeing him again!
What can I say... I cried when he hit those first notes of "How Does It Feel", and what an awesome crowd, what an experience!
I 'listen' to the music of Stevie and Prince. But I feel as if I was a part of music when I listen to D. He is just Amazing.
