I harvested a massive harvest of peppers and other vegetables today in our small backyard container garden.

Marie, I live in Canada, Toronto and planted in pots and ground. Sadly winter is coming and my vegetables won't survive the outside.😢

And I feel like when you share it’s like the gift that keeps on giving because it just bears so much more. Also pruning is simply magic - seems like it just produce 50, 80 , hundred fold. Hello, a subscriber gave me a tomatillo plant and few seeds last year, I saved seeds from that plant. I bought a mixed pack of bell peppers from home depot and accidentally got one baby bell pepper plant from that pack. I saved seeds from the first pepper from that one, it seems it crossed pollinated because all the different colors now are from that one pepper

Hi my dear friends. I’m trying to see if I can source Tomatillo seed and try to grow in London. It will be a challenge for sure as it’s used to a warmer climate but if I can start it indoors then introduce to outside once it warms up a bit around April or May then you never know, I could be successful? Advice greatly appreciated? You’re sounding much better than a few days ago Marie. Thank the lord. And I’m wishing you more and more blessings 🙏🏾❤️

@FarmingOnTheRocks I sprinkled some baking soda around them plus a mixture of baking, vinegar and water on the leaves and on my cauliflowers, the slugs are feasting on those too

Tomatillos are a relative of tomatoes, but as you see it doesn't ripen to red, its in a husk and it's tangy and has a firm texture. There are also yellow and purple varieties😊
