We went to compare this coach with the Bay Star 3014 yesterday. We like them both. Wife prefers the 3014, I like the added space of the 3225 but could live with either. If it weren’t for the added weight and near inability to access to the bathroom with slides closed I’d go for the 3225. Would be nice to have the best of both worlds. A 3025? Maybe a 3125? Pocket bathroom door, dual front slides, large pantry next to refrigerator with pull out drawers. We love: Opposing front slides open up the living area dramatically. Dual pantries We hate: Nearly impossible to get past the refrigerator with slides closed. On the unit we saw the bathroom door did NOT hinge in the middle like the one in this video Added weight - admittedly this is a unique problem to us as I want to tow a truck with a motorcycle in the bed.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My duckies are the sane as yours the awning arm on the passenger window and the cub holders by the passenger seat I the way of getting in the seat. My likes are the shower, the couch across from the tv and the kitchen and the bedroom! It’s all very nice. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Beautiful floorplan! The only things that I would prefer is a 12V fridge, any decor other than the dirty looking corners of the farmhouse cabinet doors and some reclining theater seating over the sofa👍
We just picked up a new Newmar Ventana, from a different dealer sorry and took it for an 8-day shakedown trip and WOW, Newmar knows how to make a quality product. We had very few small issues and loved the trip. From our last RV, forget the dropdown bunk, they suck.
Dislikes: 1. No solar 2. The interior color scheme is bland. 3. Outside the power cord wasn’t on a reel. Of course if the passenger seat is uncomfortable more than likely so is the driver’s seat which would be an immediate deal breaker. Likes: 1. I like the shorter length 2. I like the decorative touches on the interior trim. 3. I like that the bathroom and bedroom are accessible with the slides in at least for a smaller person. I would hope a wider person could get through without much trouble as I am a larger person. I wish Matt had tried to get through with the slides closed.
We'v ebeen looing at Newmar to take advantage of the rebate, but with the slides in, this rig is unuseable,,, no external tv and the awning arm in the window of the passenger seat are dealbreakers. and, "luxury" but no power reel for power cord.
my buddy has an awning that is right after the door and it is such a pain to get in and out of because you can't open the door all the way so I actually don't mind it being in the window
Two things! Does the gas engine have enough power to go over the Rocky Mountains? Also, does it have an engine brake so I don't have to ride the brake on the way down the Rockies?

I don't really like this moterhome. The seats are uncomfortable, dinette is small and the toilet is tight for Matt, so it would be too small for me. I would like a tankless water heater

They should have gone with an armless awning. I don’t think that awning arm on the front side window is very safe. It obstructs the drivers view to the right. Newmar has packed a lot into this smaller motor home. I could comfortably full time in this unit.
Prefer the pivot bathroom door over a folding door. Agree with the cabin comments. They have enough storage, don't need that center piece between the driver and passenger. I would want a table option in front of the recliners as the table to too small for a full family enough though you have beds for 6.
The awning mounted over the passenger window is a compromise that's couldn't be avoided. You cannot mount it behind the window because the entry door would hit it when opening all the way. In that case they would have to incorporate a gas strut to keep the door from opening all the way, preventing the door hitting the awning H/W. However, the dinette slide is too close to the entry door, so with a strut door opener, the space between the slide and a half opened door would feel cramped. I think the compromise was the best solution, given the dinette slide location. It's really not that big of a deal IMO, although it is different and odd. The ultimate design fix to this is to use an awning that doesn't utilize vertically mounted H/W, in favor of horizontal scissor H/W at the top of the coach. But those type awnings seem more vulnerable to wind.
The motor home couch should be able to make it into a bed, and the facet in the kitchen should be taller like gooseneck for easier clearance for pot and pans. I like the double sink, although they could be wider. I appreciate the video.
_Love_ this Baystar 3225 & glad they've upped the Onan to a fulltimer-worthy 5K. If they just added a passenger desk it'd be _perfect._ Would love a Buffet Dinette (credenza cabinetry) option for those that use dinettes as workstations. 1 TV in bedroom is enough. It would be great if Newmar could somehow fix their slides to NOT take up half of their own overhead cabinet space. It's a big letdown.

In the future please lower the over cab bunk bed all the way (some have very little room… Thor🤨)! I love everything but the price… next time start with that so I’ll know to skip🤦🏻♂️
Tire is low. paint has streak stains. Dirty storage bins. small rear window. even my 1989 Bounder has a locking gas lid, $1000 gas wide open. tight walk with slides in. dirty looks like it been used and on the lot a while. passenger seat is loose. bad show for a newmar,, offer a $150k.
No's...tight walkway when slides are in, carpet and the weird trim that's bumpy and gold looking like a cheap sound booth from the 70's. Like the floor plan and the kitchen. Would love a washer dryer but it is a smaller Length so you can't have it all.
Personally I would not like to travel in uncomfortable chairs especially considering how long you could be driving. The passenger’s facilities are lacking completely making this a nonstarter deal. However good their reputation this doesn’t reflect their previous builds and it’s just boring. I was amazed just how dirty the exterior storage facilities were on a new motorhome. They are not looking after their stock as I’ve seen used RVS looking far superior both inside and out. With prices falling dramatically you’d be better off buying a used RV with low mileage and all the issues ironed out and have a lot more for your money. It’s time to be realistic about the finish quality of all RVS especially those on the market now. Can you imagine how much you’re going to loose buying this particular motorhome and many others I’m seeing. It’s time to be extra vigilant when buying your dream so you don’t end up with your biggest nightmare of all time. It’s due to your filming that these failures are being seen and for this I thank you 😊

Great stuff you two. My dislikes are no outdoor TV, and no room for Maya, my great Pyr to be able to lie down while the slides are closed.

Depends on YOUR use.
When we boondock being frugal with power we can last up to two weeks. A week is easy but past 10 days it gets harder
