So I bought the oven yesterday and as I stated... “its awesome!” Last night I watched several videos on the grill. I still haven’t taken it back. I may just keep it. It looks like it works crazy good as well. Kudos to the Ninja people on this line of products. They hit a homerun with them!

Hi John I just recently purchased one of those foodie ninjas you have in this video I have not used it yet but I'm looking to cook smothered pork chops how would I go about cooking those in the ninja foodi digital air fryer oven the one you have in this video
Oven came in this afternoon. Will unbox in morning.. Have picked up the pizza. Sounds like a great lunch option. thanks for the suggestion. Don't eat a lot of cookies or ice cream but there may be some in its future.
Can you use glass casserole dishes or pie plates etc in the air fry oven? I have the impression that nothing should be used except the pans they include with the oven or the other metal pans that they sell are the only products you should cook in!!!
Great video! I love to see the cheese bubble.. can you please share the setting? I would love to try it. We have the same one with the extra height. Tyfs Take care 🎄
Thank you for convincing me to go out to Kohl's and buy one! In two days I have made grilled cheese, heated up Belgian waffles (home made which I freeze, then heat up), English muffins (toast), dehydrated a tray of apple slices, and made a pan of apple crisp this afternoon! And tonight...pizza night, although I make mine from scratch, I am going to use the same settings you used for the frozen pizza and see what happens. And today I gave away my stand-alone air fryer lol.
I worry about some of the grease from the cheese spattering on the top of this oven because it is so short. Has it stayed fairly clean? Thinking of the Breville since it's taller.
Hi John I just recently received a ninja foodi digital air fryer oven like the one that you're using in this video I was wondering if it's possible you are able to cook smothered pork chops in one of these

I was thinking about this one or Breville. I also want to dehydrate option. so it would have to be the 101ninja. what is your opinion on CLEANING these ovens?

John Sanders use the no fan option and the sheet pan (light spray or butter or oil) it will crisp I did. you need to use that pan if you don’t sooner or later it will affect the heating elements (oils what not )
Hey , John. I have the Breville oven and am looking into this Ninja oven. One thing I often use the Breville oven for is dishes cooked in a casserole dish. Will a 1/2 quart to 2 quart casserole dish fit into the Ninja oven?
I have a video where I put a black iron skillet in it to cook cornbread...I think it shows the internal size best or well give you a good idea but I think a normal size low profile would fit... thanks fore watching!!
My first instinct was to do exactly the same as you did, put it directly on the rack. I saw someone actually put it in the pan and the crust actually came out considerably darker which is counter intuitive to what I've usually practiced myself. Have you tried pizza directly in the cooking pan?
I am a new subscriber over the pond in uxbridge near london. I never knew ninja done so many cooking things. Now confused what to get. I think I am gonna just get the ninja foodi cos it has a grill right?
S little confusing but it depends on which Foodi you are referring to...I would personally but the Foodi Grill before the Foodi Oven but it really depends on your specific needs...by the way, I'm coming over there someday so y'all be ready...lol...hope this helps and thanks for watching!
I have considered it but I have a Vita mixer that I don't use enough so it might be something I do later...unless I get a lot of request...thanks and thanks for watching!
I wasn't sold on this thing until I got used to it, now I cook as much as will fit in the oven. Cooked a couple of ready-made pizzas and they came out really well. Nice crispy crust. Now I'm going to make my own dough. Never did that before, but this machine has hooked me. I made fantastic roast potatoes and tried french fries. You have to coat them with oil and spices and let them stay in there until they get past the interior "soft" phase when they get droopy even though the outside is getting brown. Going to try some of the meals they suggest.
It's been awhile since I've made pizza dough but that might be a good idea...I'll try to get my stuff out and see what happens before long...thanks.. and thanks for watching!
I think I would have cooked a bit more plus do a little broil. I like it more crispy on bottom and the pepperonis crisp on edges or even to curl. But your right most would like it as you made it. Thanks for review!!
I usually add other items and depending on which ones I will cook it a good bit more than that...but I think on camera and a lot of people that haven't cooked many might think it is burnt...but yes..I like my pepperoni crispy on the edges too and it is one of the easiest and best meals I do...thanks and thank you very much for watching Sandi!!!
Hi John, Great video. I have a Breville Smart Oven and sometimes bake boxed creamy potatoes in a 1.5 qr. round casserole dish. Would the Ninja oven be tall enough to make these potatoes?
I have never had one of the electric counter top pizza ovens so I'm not really sure...but I would imagine they are destined for hand made fresh pizzas... and I do those outside on a wood/charcoal fired pizza oven I have called a OONI and we love it but not designed for frozen pizzas
@@JohnSanders The pizza oven (countertop) I have is like the ones in bars or restaurants and typically they are just used for frozen pizzas. It does a great job for frozen pizza, but I may want to get one of these if they do frozen pizzas just as well. I typically just use thin crust pizzas...grandkids favorites!
@@kathyhanusa8956 I might need to look into that...we cook a lot of frozen pizzas because they are so cheap, easy and really good...what kind do you have?

this guy is all over the place. why is he this not say you put it in the oven and you do it for this length of time at this temperature he's like oh you turn the knob and blah blah blah like good freaking Lord like which one is it
My opinion of frozen pizzas isn't so generous. That includes leftover pizza too which I'll eat for breakfast or a mid-day snack the next day. However, I have had decent reheated pizza using a pizza stone and my BBQ gas grill but it's problematic to get the timing and correct temp to avoid turning leftover pizza into crispy cardboard. I'm not a pizza snob, I'm just a single guy who craves that authentic pizza taste that cannot be satisfied by any frozen pizza variety that I've tried. (The same goes for lasagna too) BTW, I've eaten more than my share of frozen and refrigerated store-bought pizzas over several decades because they are convenient, quick and easy. Those are the only pros though. I have yet to find any brand of frozen pizza (believe me I have tried all the major brands and even the self-rising varieties) that will satisfy that true pizza parlor taste. Nowadays, I'll make my own or eat Dominoes, Pizza Hut or Little Ceasar pizzas before consuming any frozen variety. I consider all frozen pizzas as just snack foods. True hand-tossed pizzas are a meal even without a salad. They have doughs that are aged for days and often up to a week which gives them that super-premium quality flavor and, chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside, crust. Pizza parlors and Italian restaurants pride themselves on using only authentic wet mozzarella cheeses without fillers and preservatives that you will find in dry brick or shredded mozzarella cheeses. And parlors only use the freshest toppings too. So, in a pinch I'll eat frozen pizza but in no way possible will my pizza cravings be satisfied. But that's just me and I respect that everybody's tastes are different.
I agree...none are as good as my favorite pizza place called Antico in Atlanta...it is truly amazing and will never be recreated in a factory but it is a convenient easy supper and I have eaten many also...maybe someday there will be one and I'll admit...I would pay a decent amount to get one...thanks for watching!
I wish you would stop changing all the settings because of the way you do it with all your other ovens. I think most people are going to follow the instructions that come with the unit or the instructions for the product because that's what most folks are going to do. That is the revue I would like to see.
you can get frozen pizzas that are actual pizzas made from dough and with tomato sauce not the cardboard tomato like product processed stuff that gets extruded out. its an insult to pizzas to say frozen pizzas (the paste/cracker like bottom kind) are anywhere near the same thing. the ninja is pretty good and i got it on sale at target for 160 after discounts! the pizza in the pan is the deli style thick crust elementary school style pizza. the over is large at 12.5x12.5 but this wont allow most pizza stones or muffin tins to fit as they are 13 inches...probably a feature so they can sell you more pans ^_^
I was hoping to see something Air Fryers are for. Any good convection toaster oven can do these things. I was hoping to see items that are more specific to Air Frying where you save the oil and it still gets crisp. But as always - love your videos!
It's NOT Hand tossed by a machine. You’re wasting money with frozen pizzas, Try making your own dough or buying dough and make your own which is much better than frozen!

Sorry about that... not sure i understand but thanks for watching!!!
you can get frozen pizzas that are actual pizzas made from dough and with tomato sauce not the cardboard tomato like product processed stuff that gets extruded out. its an insult to pizzas to say frozen pizzas (the paste/cracker like bottom kind) are anywhere near the same thing. the ninja is pretty good and i got it on sale at target for 160 after discounts! the pizza in the pan is the deli style thick crust elementary school style pizza. the over is large at 12.5x12.5 but this wont allow most pizza stones or muffin tins to fit as they are 13 inches...probably a feature so they can sell you more pans ^_^
@@JohnSanders im curious how you got a 13 inch pan into a 12.5 inch oven... is it actually 13 inches or really less? did it fit sideways?
Woops... I thought this comment was on the new XL OVEN... my bad!!! Sorry about that..I deleted the incorrect comment of mine...
I was hoping to see something Air Fryers are for. Any good convection toaster oven can do these things. I was hoping to see items that are more specific to Air Frying where you save the oil and it still gets crisp. But as always - love your videos!
I'm going to try some of those things soon...thanks and thanks for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders Thank you! Will stay tuned! Hope all is well in Jelly007 world! :)
How can you get a hamburger well done
Add time is about the only way... and check internal temps... thank's for watching!!!
Breville too expensive for my budget:(
I agree it is pricey but it does an excellent job... thanks for watching!!!
It's NOT Hand tossed by a machine. You’re wasting money with frozen pizzas, Try making your own dough or buying dough and make your own which is much better than frozen!
I agree, I actually have a pizza oven but for quick and easy this is hard to beat...thanks for watching!!!
I'm sorry sir that cookie is overcooked because it was left on the pan to cool.
I guess that does have an effect I didn't think of... it was good though... but thank you for watching!!
That's a party right there. Now I'ma gonna try not to buy those Toll House.
I did some macadamia nut...they were out of this world good...thanks for watching Claud!!#
@@JohnSanders Oh wow. I love macadamia. Thanks for the tip!!
Ninja or nuwave. Or other product shopping around. Cannot make up my mind. Leaning towards the foodi
I love the foodi but do not know much about Nuwave multi cooker... however their induction cooktops work very well... hope this helps and thanks for watching!
I’m watching reviews because I’m on the fence about purchasing one. If I do buy one, I’d like to be able to get rid of my toaster completely. Also, we think the best frozen pizza is Home Run Inn. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. 😋
I have... love home run and cook then write often...i really want to go to Chicago and eat in the restaurant...thanks for watching!!!
Anyone cooked bacon in this digital air fryer
I have not...I hear air fryers do it very well but I worry about the grease and oil that gets airborne and ends up on the fan etc...but I think a lot of people do it...thanks for watching!
palermo is the worst pizza I ever had and then I read the box... bioengineered products..
Cookie dough pizza
He talks too much. Things we don't need to know

Thanks for watching!!!
That was painful to watch!
