- In today's video, I am comparing a lot of the BEST 2x2 Speedcubes on the market, and talking about the best ones for their prices! Keep in mind, this is more of an objective video rather than just me sharing my thoughts on these cubes which is why I invited all these special guests to talk about the cube. However, remember, more expensive does NOT mean it is a better cube. My main 2x2 is half the price of the most expensive cube here. Therefore, you guys must see all the qualities about each of these cubes, and based on that, make a decision on which cube you end up buying.

I watched this video because a young kid broke my cube after i got it for 1 day (I got it for christmas) and I heard the rs2m wasn't great so I was searching for the perfect cube and this convinced me to get the mgc elite! The Meilong 2×2 was my main for a long long time as well. Was it good? No. But still it was worth it. I did most of my fast solves on it, and now with you great suggestion, my main is the MS 2×2 and it's a whole lot better.

The new rs2m evo is pretty good too, but i wouldn't jump to any conclusions. I don't think it works for my angry turning style, but its a solid performer.

Haha well I’m worried this didn’t make the decision easier so I’d suggest the MGC Elite if you want a heavier 2x2 and the Gan 251 M Pro if you want smth lighter.

Hey should I pick the q y m s ball core 2 by 2 over the Rs 2m evolution
I main the Dayan TengYun V1 or whatever (it isn’t the plus). It’s quiet, turns pretty fast, but is very stable, it won’t lock up or pop, its corner cutting is better than the plus in my opinion. It’s also only $25-$35 AUD so like $15-$25 USD depending where on which store you buy it from

I think it has very good things like the very very soft feeling and how quiet it is
Imo it’s too catchy, breaks too easily and is overall worse than the MGC Elite and Valk 2.

I actually got the valk 2 M a few months ago and I'm totally dissatisfied, the magnets are too strong to even turn and when you lose it just a little bit it pops every 5 solves, absolute waste this might have been a damaged piece but still :(

@@deogracias4797 I used to use Ortega but I found I was slower with it so I switched back to LBL. I now know over half of CLL and average almost sub 3~
@@JudeStradtner i have been learning cll too, in the span of 4 days. i need 12 more algs to learn. but i need time to practice and work it up with muscle memory.
@@deogracias4797 I don’t practice 2x2 a lot, but recently found that I am capable of getting podiums, so I’ve actually started practicing more. I’ve been learning CLL very slowly over the course of around 2 months, drilling the algorithms until my recognition was perfect. I still have about 15 algorithms left, and a competition in 4 months, so I’ll probably start learning EG-1 by then, lol.

The MGC Elite or GAN 251 M Pro would probably work best for most people depending on whether you like a heavier cube (MGC Elite) or a lighter cube (251 M Pro).

1. If you want a lighter and more compact feeling, get the auso wrm. If you want a bigger cube or have a lower budget get the yj mgc
2. Yes, I think the gan 12 maglev is just weird to me

like you said at the start, 2x2 hardware is so similar these days, and imo it just isn't worth spending any more than $20 on a 2x2, as you can get the same things and maybe more for much less
