It's amazing how YJ went from a low performance budget brand to dominating the big puzzle market, as well as so many other events, like megaminx and square-1. They have completely changed, and applaud the whole company for innovation, performance and price.

Bought the YuHu V2 for a friend for his birthday last May coz all the reviews indicated that it's the only eco-performance option.
I knew I'll never be disappointed by the purchase.
@@cherry8385 i think gan is very different. They pioneered the speedcube industry and very early on were making some of the best high performance cubes

I remember using the old YJ megaminx 5 years ago and finding it so dull drudging around all the pieces to do a megaminx solve so I actually gave it away. I recently picked up Dayan megaminx (I find the ones with heavier ridges ugly, shallow I know) just to try out what a new one was like and WOW I actually like megaminx now!
I also picked up the YJ MGC 6x6 because I always wanted to love 6x6 buut the shengshou one I had just turned so horribly and I am in LOVE, deffinitly in my top 3 puzzles, right behind 4x4... speaking of, I might need a new 4x4 now since my 6x6 turns better than it!

3x3: I’ll pick 2 from each company:
Qiyi: tornado or valk 3
Moyu: original weilong wrm or rs3m 2020 (or any variants)
Gan: gan 356m or gan 11m pro/duo
Dayan: tengyun

The magnets in the YJ mgc cubes are really good
I would recommend the yj mini 4x4 and 5x5 for anybody that has small hands or likes smaller cubes, the price and performance is great.
even for big hands like mine its my main since it came out, awesome little thing

The MGC line is just too good almost all cubes in the line could be argued for as the best overall for price and performance in their respective categories
other than 3x3 4x4 and up its really just a no brainer for someone who wants to start speed solving bigger cubes after you get super fast though for 4x4 5x5 and 7x7 there are better options but they cost more
Currently, I cannot find a 4x4 that I like as well as my MGC 5x5.
Except for 3x3. 4x4 maybe. Everything else is amazing
@@casual_cubing i mean the 3x3 as the breaking issue but other than that its still main worthy but the 4x4 does fall behind a little compared to the aosu

But buying MGC 5 is basically rolling for gacha, tho. You either get the good ones with no defects, or get the bad one with stripped core(s)
Lol, funfact: I was the judge for sameers solve and i knew when u said mgc square one that i would be in the vid lol
for 5x5 i prefer the wrm, 6x6 i favor the shadow v2 and 7x7 the spark, for backup mains is hands down mgc line
yeah for anything other than 6x6 there are better options but mgc is reliable and cheap plus there 6x6 is up there with the best of the 6x6s
Surprising how Qiyi/X-man has so many fewer cubes on this list compared to a couple years back. In 2018 they were mentioned for every puzzle except 3x3. They still have some really solid cubes but it's great to see other brands improving as well and giving us more options for side events and big cubes.

I think Max's 5/6/7 mains are Valk/Shadow V2 / Spark, which I believe are the world record cubes (unless his 6x6 main is the MGC)
Mgc is so overhyped, they are cheap cubes with cheap quality
I just dont get why you would get a cheap, sub-par cube if being serious about cubing

4x4 Aosu WRM

6x6 Mgc/shadow v2

i would say that the gan mexaminx is one of the best mexaminx
I feel like for honorable mention for 3x3, I would replace the tornado for the mgc evo. For the same price, Yoo get better corner cutting, adjustable magnets with more options for strength, and the tensioning can go clockwise and counterclockwise. Just an amazing cube and it really shows when you lube it. It’s suuuper fast so I used weight 6 and more control lubes on it. Banger vid tho!!!
Corner cutting is very true, but tornado gets a dual adjustment system along with adjustable magnets, just allowing the cube to be recommended to a lot more people, so I think it’s the better choice
@@futureddude4250 the mgc is relatively new and not many people have it yet so time will tel which the better cube will be in terms of reception from buyers

mgc evo seems pretty bad for its price from what ive heard compared to a lot of people liking the tornado

Why not the *$135 GAN 11 12 M Pro Maglev* . It is The 12 Maglev without the catching problem and without the other issues and it is by far more expensive than any other cube.
