When I get to the middle part of my sketchbook I do a double spread artwork and I always have a rule, that I can’t start on it before I have some good and filled spreads as much as I’ll like to do. So I’ll just spend many days just doing that and that makes me more excited for the middle artwork and the second half of the sketchbook. Because I like the first half and can always cover up sketches and such I’m not very fond of or just don’t like.
Your art is so beautiful!! You are definitely a huge inspiration for me!! I love watercolours and gouache and it's so cool to see an artist using those! Your artstyle is so intriguing and out of this world!!! This video is really helpful for me right now as i am having trouble getting inspiration but I think thanks to you my problem is solved! Some people are really weird about rules in art which is really stupid cause art can be whatever you want and use whatever rules you want! Very inspiring! I loved seeing all your creative illustrations and the way you used them to illustrate your ideas! I sometimes like to plan on the left side of a spread and put the finished illustration on the right side, so I especially liked seeing those examples with your style.

i have 2 sketchbooks, one is a photo album with plastic sleeves where i put all my fully rendered drawings, with stickers and garbage on top. the other is a regular sketchbook, for sketchbooking, exploring, doodling whatever.
wow verz i got such a burst of inspiration from this vid after days, weeks? of feeling unmotivated! even paused as i kept watching to take a longer look at some spreads - it's kind of funny how my favorites ended up being your plain pencil drawings as well as the most colorful chaotic pages. i really would like to try out your advice right away, but so many late assignments have to be done first.....
ah i love LOVE how u choose colours & all the stickers/candy paper complete the pages perfectly 💔 i've always struggled w glueing something in my sketchbook because i don't want to waste nice stickers/pieces of paper on something this messy 💀

И если да, то что вам помогает перебороть это желание прокрастинировать? Вопрос может дурацкий, просто я была в очень затяжном артблоке и отвыкла от рисования до жути, сейчас пробую себя перебороть но иногда чувство что я топчусь на одном месте. И хотелось бы просто послушать перспективу другого человека на эту тему.
