Mate of mine in Birmingham had one of these but drove it like a p*ssy so asked him to chuck me the keys to show him how to drive it properly had him hanging of the doors what a car would love one

Woof woof woof
I’m on the toilet doing some right smelly farts 💨
At your mom’s place

Top tip to stop a drive shaft from spinning whilst you remove the end bolt. Get a large Allen key or sturdy screwdriver and stick it into the end of the brake disc between the vents (obviously only works on vented discs) When the assembly moves, the alley key etc will wedge up against the calliper carrier and lock the whole lot whist you remove the half shaft bolt.
Was just gonna comment that😂
Yeah it’s a great way to do it - I usually use that trick but that impact gun is quite violent so I had a feeling shards of screwdriver would start flying everywhere in this case lol
@TRHamza what model dewalt is it?
DCF900
Hamza is back, the R36 is going to be a fun build👌, lots of support from South Africa brother🔥💥💪
R36. Almost - almost - bought one when they were announced. From memory, VW had them at £26k estimated... then it took about 18 months to actually get to a point where I could buy one, by which time it had swollen to mid £30k. In the meantime I'd bought an Alpina B3 3.3 which was doing an excellent job of bankrupting me - so between the bottomless pit of the Alpina and the price creep, the R36 never happened.
In hindsight, wish I'd held on and got one.
Love it!! doing a top job to save this R36 man! From one R36 owner to another, you are going to enjoy this when its done 👌
Top tip, brake pipes.. There is normally corrosion under the plastic coating next to the join you are trying to undo it will always look swollen . So burn off (using a lighter) a small part of the plastic coating so you can clean the corrosion off before you undo the join which in turn will stop the pipe turning/twisting and snapping. Afterwards dab a bit of paint to cover up the exposed pipe and stick some grease etc over it
E60 M5 has gone AWOL!!!! Need some V10 love
Finally a upload, you need to come Bradford. Definitely wont be disappointed by the cars here. 💨
Been waiting for this one, stay blessed bro 👊🏻
Loving this channel! I genuinely thought you wereva mechanic. Your knowledge and skill is really impressive for someone home taught. I'm really sick so I'm binge watching your content. Cheers for keeping me sane!
Woohoo! Been waiting for this. Watching all the ads to help with finances! 😂
Its good to see you again man
We need more videos man
We enjoy watching your videos sir❤️👑🧿
This was great Man, love this series, so te goes to get a v6 , the sound of these engines😮💨
Thanks for this R36 update video.....I was just wondering what happened to this good looking estate/station wagon!
Overall, the rear subframe & suspension seems to be in good condition, taking into account the car's age.👍
Looking forward to seeing what direction you'll be taking this project & enjoying seeing you adopting a more hands on approach to your videos.
Keep up the great work!
Great video man. The quality of your videos and production is sick. Obviously love to see more content often but because of the above it’s almost worth only having one update a month 😂
Thanks man - the goal is the upload a lot more but sometimes delays occur. I’m trying for part 3 to be out this week 🤞🏼
@@TRHamza Sounds good man. I’ll look forward to it whenever it drops 👌🏼
I’m doing this atm with my mk2 Octavia Vrs got a rear subframe off and a3 getting the subframe sandblasted and then gonna paint it with hammerite then putting on new arms brakes, callipers, carrier bearings and dust shields expensive but worth it! Keep up the good work boss man
Love the work your doing on this r36
I have a r32. Looking forward to the next video:)
Nice car and you've made a great start to the project. Looking forward to the rest of it.😎👍
Fantastic work matey loving watching this 😎🤙🏽
Ive had my r36 saloon for about 8 years now. Tried to look after it. Cat back stainless from supersprint. Very expensive but sounds just right imo.
Just done brake discs. Front wings are starting to go, in typical vw fashion. Bolt on though i think and its black so should be easy match.
Tha blue is the nicest though, must admit.
Ive done a couple of suspension bits but other than that just tyres and oil changes.
Still love it. Good luck with project!
Great work, can't wait to see that rear subframe and suspension all cleaned up and shiny!
Thank you, same here can’t wait to see it all done
great vid! cant wait for more episodes on this car.
As a previous Japanese and ford car owner from 2008, I can say that subframe is virtually brand new 🤣
The Main Man Is Back!
The restoration goes on, I’m looking forward to the next instalment 😊.
Nice! I recently purchased a super clean and rare Jetta V5 iin South Africa. What a car! (once you get it running right)
Really like this series! Ty!
I got one of them DCD996 DeWalt drills as well, they are powerful for real. Love it
So glad I found this channel ❤
Could watch you all day doing this satisfying to see
Best build so far. These cars are underrated. Had one of them myself extremely modified. Still regret selling it.
Nice work mate, I am seriously feeling that DeWalt impact gun, and that work bench is mint too. 👍
Cheers mate, its definitely helped me a lot with the tougher bolts!
A plank of wood is always needed in a garage.. Always comes in handy!!
Glad ya back bro
Some good ole subframe content. Soon you will be throwing zinc bolts on everything 😂
I have considered it 😂
Lucky with those upper control arm bush bolts - mine were metallurgically bonded together (aluminium bush collar and steel bolt chemically reacting together like a chemical weld) and had to be cut off with a reciprocating saw!
Not so hard to misalign an R36 rear subframe but for other 3C2 and 3C5 Passat models a set of alignment pins is useful (T10096 VW special tool number or Sealey equivalent which are way cheaper). Always renew the subframe bolts as they are torque till yield (TTY/stretchy type) or better still if you have the budget get upgraded reusable bolts and locating collars.
Nice DCF900 - I have the DCF899N which is the older model but what a piece of kit!
Great car BTW!
Get in Hamza! Great to see you tearing into the mighty R36 ♥
Definitely check out the bilthamber anti corrosion range.
Currently doing my e36 rear end.
Well done , clearly you got the skills 🎉
Finally, I miss the videos!!
Will be very satisfying knowing you’ve done everything underneath. Really nice rare car to restore mate 👍
Ps. I’ve got that dewalt gun, be careful on no3 it can rip the heads clean off lol 😂
Ps. I’ve got that dewalt gun, be careful on no3 it can rip the heads clean off lol 😂
Definitely mate, would have been wrong to just do the arms as initially planned - and yes ive heard these can snap things easily in setting 3 haha!
Glad you’re back 👌
Back with the R36 vids 👌🔥
Nice job, fab car, re the hub bolts…..wood worked but next time use a screwdriver in the disc it’ll jam against the carrier or use vice grips (if not vented) or better still loosen them before dropping it off car.
Finally bro 😭😭😭
A small tip brother, next time it would be better if you ice washed the car before start disassembling! That would make the scenes cleaner
The vid I've been waiting for
Done that on my mk5 golf new rear axle but i painted the rear and front archs with black hammerite iv also painted my mk7 archs the same hate the sign ov rust vw seams 2 like it. Good luck
I wish i wish i could own this car one day, cool build man
Nice work Hamza ✌️
Did you check out the engine rock? Do you need to look at the engine mounts and gearbox mount?
Just A Quick One. Would You Consider Doing A Golf R32 Again?
I would yes, but probably a 3dr DSG in blue
@@TRHamza Sick. Used To Own A Black 5dr Dsg 2009’09’. When you bought yours we sold ours 🤣. Also had an e60 m5 back in 2015 so your channel is the perfect one to watch! Great content from a great guy
Yes bro finally 👍👍
I was in the same situation with the rear arm tracking bolts but on a Golf MK6 I had to chop the bolts off with a dremel, what happens is the bolt fuses to the metal sleeve that's in between the bush, it took me ages. I had to chop the head off the bolt, chop the washer off and then trim down the bolt enough that it manages to squeeze out of the subframe, goodluck taking them off you're going to need it!
Same im having issues with my scooby with the bolts stuck abd spins with the rubber bush
@Flipping Cars & Repairs I went through several blades with a dremel, it's just an awkward area, had to lower the backbox to access the bolts as I didn't remove the subframe, nothing else would fit in the area, once I managed to chop the head off, I then chopped the washer than is part of the bolt, once that came apart I cut the bolt thread as flat as I could. I then managed to get a bar under to wedge it out of the subframe, it's a ballache and I don't want to do it anytime soon lol
Welcom Back !!! 👍
How does this man not have a million subs?
Hes back ❤❤
awesome so far bro!
do you have a link to the front control arms at all please?
Hello, I would like to know if the fenders are wider originally on this R36 than on standard B6 Passat, or they are glued onto the fenders? The moment I saw the difference: 5:13
”In case i’d like to fourwheel swap something in the future” Hell yeah! The caddy! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Finally some r36 content 😁
Put a flat head in the side of brake disc to get bolt off without it moving
You can get a cheap turbo kit for around £3500
I did the rear subframe on my e30... horrible job with no ramp and working on my own
Hope to see more from these rear car …
Do you use workshop manuals for this work mate and if so which ones?
Inconsistency is killing this Chanel man
Is the car not nose heavy with rear suspension removed? Could whack over forward off the lift?
Good job m8!
Cheers:-)
Missed the uploads
Even though it was an ad - would love to see a TR hamza 3.0 tasing supercharger build
Wasn't that passat in BCA Bedford a few weeks ago? My m8 told me there was an interesting passat in there, but I wouldn't expect it to go for £6k. £4-5k maybe.
Vr6 4wd estate what’s not to like 😎
I wish we got these in the US
Gud vid 💯👌🔥
Kolay gelsin usta :)
good content, keep up :)
Why you take so long to upload bro n
Delays that have been out of my control

Any update on the v70 t5 love the volvo content I do and was watched by 55k views 😊
Im trying to make my 18 Passat GT AWD thanks for this video, but Im gonna use a haldex and rear sub frame from a 14 Passat cc 3.6 4 motion any help, tips, pointer will be gladly appreciated lol
Haces que desmontar sea muy faci, que me gustaría ser capaz de hacerlo. 👏👏
Nice one
I wonder what will happen to the T5?
Pls dry ice and sandblast the undersite. With new wax and paint below that car will be brand new
Want a used vw buy it from this gezza 🤣💪
Have you managed to get out in the caddy rs yet after those upgrades? Ive got a R36 manual swapped caddy and want to hear you opinons on that rear anti roll bar. Had one in my basket for months 😂
Not yet unfortunately mate I need to take it for an allignment but want to fix the oil leak first
