Good God, this was a WAY better film than Revenge of the Fallen. The effects still look great. The stakes and emotion were high and the Decepticons are downright TERRIFYING. The sequence where they spill one by one out of the Space Bridge tearing shit up, still makes my jaw drop. I really did wish Bay had ended the series here.

If I’m not mistaken the Autobots and Decepticons can detect one another with sensors. Some however can’t be detected (i.e they were able to detect the large Decepticon in the beginning of Transformers 2, but they were unable to detect the one that kidnapped Sam’s girlfriend).
@@mohamedbaradji7504 the humans were able to detect the 3 suburbans on the highway too (the dreads) so it would stand to reason that the autobots (and decepticons) would have similar or better technology. Soundwave might have been able to mask his signal/energon reading. Otherwise transformers might be able to shield their signals by concealing themselves or with tech similar to what shields the autobot base in transformers prime
Kinda empathise with Sentinal here. He's putting aside the stupid quarrels with the Autobots and Decepticons because he realises that they need to stick together if they want their race to survive. Optimus is basically saying fuck our home planet, fuck the truce, let's just live in this planet in which half of the population don't want us here.
Theres that and later in the movie he explains how he refuses to obey the humans as it makes them insignificant. Compared to humans, they're obviously giants and having to obey their order from something so vulnerable to harm. But the lengths he's going is at the cost of human and autobot life, which leads to Optimus going against him
As deceiving as Sentinel was, he wasn't really far from the truth. Optimus's viewpoint on the purpose of the remaining living Autobots was to JUST protect humans, of course they were basically stranded on earth and the only means to repairing their home was destroyed in the first film, but they have forgotten their worth. It wasn't until Age of Extinction where they suffer those consequences.

Sentinal decides that He wants to teleport Cybertron to Earth (assuming He is the only Transformer at the time that knows about Earth), has His ship blown to bits on a crash course for Earth's moon. Megatron then somehow tracks the cube to Earth which is where He is to meet Sentinal. In the 2nd film has no care at all about pillars, and attempts to kill Prime several times but ONLY Prime can revive Sentinal..... ... . Ok how does this make any sense??? You'd think if Megatron wanted Sentinal alive again He would put as much effort into finding the pillars in the first place and getting Prime to revive Him in the course of the 2nd movie. Also where was the Fallen with Sentinal. Surely the Fallen being the oldest living Prime would have known about Sentinal and would of sensed Sentinal even in His sleep mode. And how or why did Sentinal not know of the Fallen if the Fallen was Megatron's Master? This 3rd film was ok, but it has the biggest plot holes in the history of Hollywood.
I think most of it happened off-screen. Megatron probably scrapped the idea of the Pillars since Sentinel went into coma and was untraceable. Megatron took to the Fallen harvesting the Sun who was in on this, as a plan B because until then the Matrix being used to revive a transformer was unheard of. When the Fallen failed as well, he shifted his focus back to Sentinel since humans discovered the ship on the moon and they had to wait for Optimus to intervene because they realized the matrix can be used to revive a transformer.
I wish Megatron was the main villain in this movie like the previous once’s my favorite was the first but I do also like the one from revenge of the fallen.
Wait, if only the ark crashed on the moon, how did those other decepticons get there? And if they needed the matrix to revive sentinel, how did these decepticons wake up…

It's from the transformium in their bodies.
They turn their similar parts into them. Example: if the vehicle has rubber tires, the transformers will create rubber-like wheels
