Gold is easily findable in the nether now. Lapis lazuli is also "findable" as priests have enchanted books and stuff. Diamonds, despite being rare, are still here in a few chests and in deals (but still worth nothing as they exchange that for 35 emerals, meaning nothing here) ! So its like dealing with dirt. Why not villagers !
