I was wondering if this will be avafor my Michigan Synthworks beehive module?

yes it will work on your Beehive as well! I also read reports of people who did install this on the Antumbra (the 6hp plaits) without any problem! Go for it, amazing sounds! Since long I was pondering the idea to get one of the many Iteritas by Noise Engineering, but with this new firmware I'm fine and happy with the Beehive/Plaits alone!

Hey Joel, have you ever tried processing your guitar through eurorack looping modules? if so, what's your experience with that in regards to sonic outcomes (e.g. positive / negative)?. i've been considering that path myself for a long time but due to cost constraints and not having clear knowledge of how that would sound in the end (e.g. not enough headroom mainly) i always stopped the gas for it.. Cheers!

Hi Pepe, I do use my modular skiff also to process external sources (like guitars, and to do so I have a Strymon AA.1, which allows me to have a send-return for non-modular levels). But I don't own a dedicated modul for looping (once I was almost tempted by the Instruo Lubah, but abbandoned the idea). The only modular effect I have is a Noise Engineering Electus Versio, which can do some kind of looping, but my goal with modular is not effects or looping, but instead filter and distort sounds with it, then for the effects and loping I have all my guitar pedals and LP2.
If you want to start to get an idea about modular a good way to try it out is VCV Rack. It doesn't feature every module on earth but it has a good array of modules (for example a lot from Mutable Instruments like the Clouds).
It's not an easy path: there are tons of modules out there, and things can be confusing some times, It need patience and a lot of planning (check Modular Grid, it's a wonderful plattform/tool to search and plan a modular system). But if you get it right it's a very rewarding path to take with a lot of possibilites.

@@JoelGilardini Much appreciated Joel. I was more interested to know how the eurorack levels affect the in the actual guitar sound and tone. Everything sounds very tight with no much headroom to my ears and it seems is been designed to process synth signals mainly. So I'm worried about how it would handle the tremendous headroom of an electric guitar when you let a note to blossom through a fuzz from low clean to full dirty leves you know.. those kind of things. I like to play a lot with dynamics so that worries me a bit when interfacing it with eurorack that's all. Do thing sound more compressed and mushy? Many thanks for the tips anyway. Cool rig you have :)

@@pangea2003 I never had issues with headroom in modular with guitars signals, and anyhow you have to "translate" your guitar signal to modular level (by boosting its gain or using interface modules, like the Strymon AA1), and then if you wanna go back into an amp you have to scale it down again. A guitar thru modular sound fully natural and not compressed or mushy at all.
