@@firetoofan5555 both Ky and Leo have 1.0x health mods, but Ky has 2 guts whereas Leo has 3, since i believe 2 guts is the average amount of guts (or at least close to it) then yeah Ky has average hp. (Also for the record HC has a 1.04x and only 1 guts so he is on the squishier end, especially at the end of his health bar but he isnt too squishy)

It really doesn’t look that bad. Slayer has options to deal with HC zoning, he has a neutral skip to get in, and he has ways to stay plus to keep HC from playing. It looks even, slayers just been out for less than 2 days
@@EdgePitSwing the characters aren't that complex. On paper I know what HC is good at and what the design of Slayer is. Plus the word "seems" implies im aware it's an early and potentially incorrect observation. There's always some guy that says this lol, no matter what you say.

Like Slayer is new and although Umisho's HC is a bit rusty I my win rate wasn't too bad especially considering how much I messed up

And all the options slayer has that assist his poor movement are things that lose to shot. But I haven't really played this game in any level of seriousness since SF6 so I'll take your word for it. On paper I just don't really see what Slayer has going for him here except high health and damage. Seems like a Nago HC 2.0 to me. I'm definitetly not judging my impression on how the matches in this video went, I know that ur day 2 slayer isn't gonna be popping off against another top player that's playing one of their mains.
i mean sol is general considered better than HC rn, i think its more likely shes picking him back up to deal with Sin since HC has a solid matchup for him, and she's said she doesnt like the Sin/Sol matchup. Not to mention she only stayed in winners because Patachu (Sin player) dropped a kara, had he not misinputted she wouldve been sent to losers. I think HC has a solid matchup against Leo as well but i don't play either of the characters so im not certain.
