The new interior is much nicer than my 22 model. All these people talking about how $50k is too much for a ranger haven’t priced a full size truck lately. A new f150 in lariat trim will run you $70k and even an xlt could be 60 or more depending on the options. I’ve seen guys that have an f150 or even a super duty but never pull anything more than a lawn mower that they could easily pull with the ranger.
First new truck I bought was a 1991 Ranger XLT regular cab 3.0 v6 5 speed. $11k. That thing would light a one tire fire for a mile😂. These new ones look huge by comparison.
I agree with you. The styling is good as well as the content vs the Colorado and my favorite looking Canyon. Size appears to be slightly larger than the GMs and the std power was impressive. We just got a 2wd XLT in our fleet for a long-term/friend employee and I just love driving it vs my HD trucks for driving around. Tows 7500 and hauls 1600 payload. 39k sticker paid 37k plus TTL. Looking at a Lariat 4x4 w the 2.7 for us as a 3rd vehicle. Waiting for some rebates and financing for 2025.
Great review. Nice details. Thanks for sharing the payload! I like the Ranger, but would prefer the Canyon for the money. However, if I am pinching every penny, a 4WD Ranger XL/STX package with the tow package and rear locker with 1,699 lbs of payload (7,500 lbs of towing) would be highly capable for towing my small camper and hauling camping gear for under $39K!!!
People cry how much these trucks cost have they looked at the price of a loaded Camry or Accord? I have a 24 Xlt FX4 on order and i cut out of alot of the options i dont need and it kept the price down
Very good complete review with all the details. Unfortunately, the camera swinging around and "wagging" at some features (see gas filler door) makes this video painful to watch. I stopped prior to halfway due to the very unstable camera work. Too bad as the audio, script, and narration are very good. I suggest using the "smoothing" function when editing the video or at least not wagging and fast zooming/panning the camera.
For that money it should include the B&O sound system. If they offered the B&O on the XLT i'd consider one. But like the last Gen Ranger they completely knackered the bundles to get the buyer to pay for a ton of crap just to get the few options they want. Still too much. But not as bad as the new toyota. In that Toyota has completely lost their minds in what they want for those Mexican built trucks. I'm totally fine driving my 2019 frontier pro 4X. Not in a hurry to invest in a huge depreciating asset. They can keep it.
The average transaction price of a full-size truck as well over $61,000. And if you spec out a loaded full-size truck you’re north of $80,000. It’s no doubt trucks have become very expensive but I’d much rather spend 50,000 before I spend 80,000+ for a full-size truck that most people will never use full potential.
Some people don’t want that massive of a vehicle that will have the same if not less payload than this ranger. This ranger isn’t small either, it’s the perfect sized truck
I agree with you this is the best price for a mid size👍

The thing is all prices are out of control.
I'm glad you showed the outrageous price immediately, so I won't learn anything about a truck I'll never buy!

Great review! I appreciate you getting a lot of details with the camera work.
Thanks bro 👍🏾

Try and buy a full-size truck with great features for $50,000. You can’t do it in any model.

I went from a ranger tremor to a 24 Colorado zr2 and it’s night and day better than my old ranger. Rangers look small now.

💯
Problem is people are complaining about all the vehicle prices they are unobtainable by average people now a days

Find a 2021 - 2023 while they are still to be found!
Definitely disappointing not having a split back bench seat. Just lacks well needed flexibility.
That center infotainment stack is a distraction waiting for an accident to happen and it’s also obnoxiously ugly.
I have no words when a GROWN MAN Tells us 50+K is a good price for that truck... Cool if you believe that, good luck in life. 😅😅😅
I picked mine up tonight: $51,365 + tax and registration.
Once again. Good review JB
Thanks, got some comparisons coming 👍🏾
dirty
$49.5k for that small truck.. no thanks... better to invest in a larger truck like an F150 or 1500 series truck.

Almost certainly it won’t cost that much in a few years.
But that full size is even more exp
Gmc canyon denali way better. Ford doesn't have enough HP nor does it have AC seats.
Ranger can be spec’ed with the same 2.7l engine in the GMC providing 310hp and 400 lb-ft torque
