    Just looked at it on Pyramid Air website. Sold out. For $250 dollars I'll give it a try.
    I will definitely be buying one in 177cal though. Because I have over 20,000 pellets and slugs of many different types.
    Thanks brother. God bless you. 🎯💯👍

    Good little hunter. Built like a tank. Had to put a Donny on mine. The magazines are the weak point and you can't find replacements . Be gentle and don't over wind it in the least when loading. My go to trunk gun.

    • @eddiecahall3824
      @eddiecahall3824 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not really a trunk rifle by any means. It's underrated for the price point and for the accuracy and power point youd have to pay 1000 for one! I've shot birds with mine out to 60m easily with a good scope on it. I absolutely love mine after working on it a bit. Just saying

    When I saw underlever I thought springer, then I saw the wood trigger guard and thought garbage. 4 power beeman scope at 27 yards the gun shot well. Infact it could be a tack driver with better optics. I'm curious but optimistic about this gun. The under lever cocking is a major draw back for bench shooting, I have no clue why it was ever designed that way. Maybe that and the trigger guard explains the price point? Thanks for the video Rick! Garnet

    • @brucerogers3253
      @brucerogers3253 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      True , it makes it a little cumbersome trying to shoot from the bench and moving the gun all the time. .
      But taking a new shooter that little extra activity of moving the gun helps helps the new shooter acquiring a Target through a rifle scope and adjusting the eye relief to eliminate shadows around the rear optics.
      After a while all those little extra movements you make will become automatic and you won't think about the gun not being made for bench shooting in a competition type of a match.
      When I had my beaman r1 but didn't think anything about caulking the rifle after every shot and hitting that cut out tomato paste can lid at 35 yard shooting off the top of the air conditioner.
      In real life it's not likely you will be presented with the perfect shot so all of this adjusting gets you accustomed to whatever conditions you're in and making the best of it..

      Hey there. Thanks for asking. This was back in May so it was probably filmed before I went into the hospital for extreme aortic stenosis. I had the surgery late April. It was an unexpected development as I did not know I had an issue. I had passed out a couple of times and when I got back from Squirrel Master I got with the doc. They said they had no explanation as to how I was still walking around. (I know. The Lord was not nearly done with me yet.). So if I filmed this before the surgery, yeah I was in rough shape. If it was just after, then I was still recovering from having my chest cracked open to have the new valve put in. By God’s grace I’m doing well now.

    I've got the 1357 and w/hammer spring adjusted 1 1/2 turns out starting at 2900 psi. Shooting 10.5 gr .177 pellets I get 50 shots starting at 860 fps down to just over 805. Forty with 12 gr. Your gun must have problem to drop off so quickly. Even 16 gr pellets had lower fps but shot many more w/o that steep drop off.

  • @chrisreilly4006
    @chrisreilly4006 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I am so curious as to why the heck you are using a 25 grain slug out of a gun like this? Slugs need way more speed to stabilize, and that needs a much lighter PELLET to be accurate. I feel like people thinking they will get good results from a slug shooting at 650 fps is such bad, false information to spread around.
