You are right …. Believe me, I would have loved for it to work … it worked like a Swiss watch on the ground … but being a scale jet and air retracts I was trying to adjust the swing speed to resemble full scale operation …I definitely choked the airflow in excess which I can most definitely revert. this was a maiden flight with many systems to adjust . Hopefully I will be able to work all kinks and make flights more enjoyable .
Excellent job beautiful landing gorgeous airplane. Everybody involved in this project gets a pat on the back! For my own knowledge, please tell me how you handle fuel safety. I hope to do this myself I want to keep safety foremost in my mind as I plan finding it, transporting it, using it on the day, all of it. Thanks again.
Thanks for your nice words. In my case I use jetA1 which we normally buy at small airports following all safety standards and using the right rating containers . At the field, we use overflow tanks to prevent fuel from spilling when filling up models tanks .
That Was a scary moment ! Well done my friend ! ✈️👍
Gosh dang! Everything stacked against you and got it down in one piece, bravo 👏
Supremely talented pilot(s) - but I bet they know that
Gorgeous big F-4...glad it worked out!
Adam, me too! Still got some bugs and tuning to go.
Such an expensive jet to have the retracts not work 😮 Great job awesome flight😊

Nice landing, time for Sky Master to embrace electric retracts for every model

Hopefully in the next video the landing gear will retract and you can make a low altitude pedal to the metal pass to show off the speed.
