Laptop beeping on startup & Stuck at Booting Screen, In this video you will learn how to fix this problem. So many people having this problem , laptop starts with continuous beep beep sound and stuck at a blank screen. During this process user shuts down the laptop forcefully, then in next start laptop turns on and beeps again with Hard Drive checksum error. This is because of the improper shut down of the laptop. Then the user confuse and thinking this is a Hard drive problem or operating system error.

But the truth is different , actually beep sound in laptop indicates that something is wrong in device. The sound comes in patterns of counts, laptop beeps twice at startup (Means Parity circuit failure) , 10 beep (Means Cmos battery error) and laptop continuous beeping on startup (Means something short in the laptop). So you have to unplug the devices connected to the laptop's motherboard one by one, Such as Keyboard , DVD Drive , Hard Drive etc. But generally in the ratio to this type of problem 8/10 laptop have shorting keyboard.

Thank you. I had a problem with my laptop, it was sounding so loud. I thought I had to replace my keyboard with a new one . But after opening it & connecting it again solved my problem. So didn't actually have to replace it at last. My laptop is hp btw

@@Marwa-tp6rb No my laptop is an HP so a little different, but similar enough that I was able to open it up following this video. I didn't actually test the old keyboard the way he does in the video, I went straight to installing the new HP keyboard (ordered from Amazon) and it worked like a charm! Good luck on yours!

Easier way : hold ctrl+power button for around 10 seconds and your laptop will reset/shutdown and it should be fine

In my laptop i hitted on keyboard 2 3 times with hand ... So it is solved now.. may be bcoz of as you said any key was pressed internally so it got released and bcoz of that beeping is stopped now .. thank you

My Dell 1501 beeped continuously on startup. I removed the keyboard and beeping went away. So I clicked every key several times, cleaned with compressed air, cleaned the ribbon cable with alcohol, reassembled and all is working. 2007 laptop 4GB Ram, now running WIN 10 20H2.Bottom line -it could just be a stuck key. Clean and re-seat everything before trashing.

Hi, thank you for the video,i have a question about this but i have slightly different errors. The loud noise usually starts when my laptop updates and goes to restating mod and after that when its turning on, but it turns on after the noise is finished. Also i have another very annoying problem,not sure if its connected with this one.. my left mouse button when i select folder starts deleting them, also when i want to open something, and when i select text it also delete it. Do you know maybe if this is also a keyboard problem? Thank you
I had a continuous beep on my Toshiba laptop and it was the battery.
I removed it and unplugging the power cable, held the power button for around a minute, reattached the battery, making sure it was sat in place nice and solid, plugged it back in and it booted up as normal!
I do have message with a Red Cross, saying “consider changing your battery”

Is it still the same because the high pitched noise coming from my laptop is much louder and longer for about 2 minute long than the sound in the video ? I always scared whenever it happened expecially at midnight when people fall asleep.
Check may be the keyboard is short internally , try to unplug the keyboard cable. I understand your feelings for the night 🙂

Thanks for this video. My laptop was blackscreen not booting and if I did get it to boot it would just beep. Found this video and tested keyboard like you show. Once I unplugged it, it turned on. I plugged it back in and put it all back together and now its working perfectly again. So was it partially unplugged possibly? Seems you saved me lots of money either way

Beeping sound indicates if any hardware problem occurs or shorting inside the laptop. Do servicing of the laptop to save it from any big problem.

Thanks for sharing one of the tricks you know with us, my laptop is now working just fine after installing the replacement Keyboard from an AMZN online order, and now I have a functional numbers 6-0 and can more effectively type passwords. This old laptop also shorted out with number 6 so it would type ENTER or Space instead of 6 and 8. Hero you are

@@alanstjohns Nothing, you can use your laptop normally after the safe boot. But safe boot was made for inspecting the problem your laptop is making & then fix that problem. You can find more about troubleshooting in google. But I didn't go searching for that since I can use my laptop using safe boot. Then One day my laptop became normal again(automatically!) & I didn't have to press the f8 again :)

Try to unplug the keyboard for one day , use your laptop with a usb keyword. The see its working fine or not.
Just press F8 continuously during booting process. It will turn your laptop on in Safe mode. No beep at all!

Actually 7 beep is an error code, that means processor problem in dell laptop. Open laptop, unplug the processor and plug it properly and also clean old thermal paste and apply some. see if it works.

Guys.. I fixed my laptop and i done nothing but removed the battery and used the laptop via charging. After sometimes used.. inserted the battery. After that no beeping. Then i realized that..it had no problem with keyboard but with battery. Try it once.

I think my laptop issue was something to do with my mouse, and/or/also the fact that I had just did a hard shutdown of my frozen Manjaro Linux, which is installed on a 1TB external USB 3.0 portable HDD.
All I did to fix my laptop beeping was to unplug everything, including power and battery. Then, it booted up into Win10 (on main HDD) just fine.
The mouse was plugged into my external (powered) USB 2.0 hub and it had temporarily stopped working in the past.
Another issue I had was on an iMac; an external desktop size HDD was causing the iMac to not boot.
Overall..., be wary of USB devices and hubs. And, try the simple things first, like unplugging external devices including the battery.
Oh ya, don’t buy cheap Victsing mice. It’s ok, but it’s not worth the money savings if you’re always thinking it might cause issues in the future.
Keyboard hatane ke baad bhi beep kar raha hai... aur toh aur wapas lagane ke baad keyboard mai automatically f2 button press ho rha hai..
Mother board ka problem hoga , ek baar servicing krwa lo may be dust ke wajah se beep kr raha ho 😀
