That wrecker saved a Dodge "Snow Flake" from 4 feet of snow in the Cascade Mountains near Clear Lake in Oregon. The owner of the Dodge insists they could have made it out if it were not for the 4Runner, stuck, and blocking the path. Perhaps, but either way, Troy saved the day and got both rigs out of the deep snow. It was quite the adventure on my buddy's 40th birthday! Something I will never forget! Troy rocks!
Well, I was glad to be available to help you guys out. Unfortunately, I sold the wrecker, but new toys coming. If you ever have time, you should put your story on my google page :) Troys Towing and Recovery
At first was sad to see that badass wrecker get torn apart, but once you showed the crane, im all better, and interested to see how the off road service truck turns out.
Our dog wanted to go out one night and I didn't trust the look on her face but let her out any way and she pinned a young skunk. Large dog, I was sleeping good too and then you hear the whine at 1am. 2 large bottles of hydrogen peroxide and we needed more, in the bathtub she went, then a good dog shampoo bath and a rinse with white vinegar. Hydrogen peroxide neutralizes the skunk oil on anything including animals. We needed about 6 quart bottles but only had 2 until we could go get some more. Today we keep about 8 quarts on hand just in case it happens again. Dayum it! It did happen again. If your cat stills smells today try the Hydrogen Peroxide Your son showed some great eye to hand coordination with the boom controls. Wish I had a son to give me a hand. 40 years ago, I had to buy some wrenches bigger than 3/4 when I bought my 1 ton 4 x 4, the 7/8 came in handy today for removing Natural Gas supply pipes and adapters. Tools that were made in America. Americans built anything to last many generations. Whose idea was it to shut down and send those companies overseas only to get "Made to Fail" back. Made to Fail is the parent company in China IMO, then there is 40 million sub contractors who work for the parent company. Lately my China made had to be RE manufactured by me so the dayum thing would work.
Hey Troy !! Amazon has plenty of wire ties as you know !!! Great to see the progress on the boom service truck !!! That wrecker body would look good on ""Frankenstein" ,but know you will sell it for the right $$$$$$$ !!!👍👍👍👍👍

Never thought I’d see you unbuilding your tow truck 😢. But your build will be great 😊
Yeah, it was a tough decision, but it's time for something new.

I am surprised that you all didn't try the old tomato juice trick.
I really feel for Mrs' Troy.
Good thing you made all that modular.
Tomato juice just masks the smell. Yes, I made the wrecker easy to take apart.
Wow you were so close!👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
I know right
Good video Brother. It would have been nice to see the truck run the winter but you will build another one
Yes new trucks are in the future
