Honestly Hellboy kind of makes sense in d&d more than any other character from these videos. He opens a weird book and gets transported right into your campaign
To update, you can get all these options if you go with the Ranger subclass Monster Slayer and still keep the Zariel Tiefling. Also, a War Hammer can suffice as your Red Right Hand.
@@dragonmaster613 Can always work around with your DM, to modify the item description to be ONE huge ass gauntlet, instead of two normal gauntlets. i had made an homebrew version of the Ogre's might gauntlets to make an Ogre's Might prosthetic arm for a character. it all started as a joke with the DM when i choose this as my uncommon item when we started our campaign for my Dark Knight toon( Vengeance Pally/Hexblade Warlock), where the DM said something, like " be carefull when taking a leak or going on the potty break with these, since you won't have a sense of touch and the bonus STR might be problemtaic. I always wanted to play Hellboy and figured out this build: Race: reflavor tortle into tiefling-looking creature. You'd need natural armor (Hellboy doesn't wear any), and other abilities lay perfectly. Shell defense may be a stance where you protect yourself from attacks with Right hand of Doom. Background: Inheritor. You got youry Right hand of Doom and swore to protect it. Your DM may be helping you uncover it's magical properties over the course of the game. Class: Paladin, oath of watchers. Hellboy can actually do magic and this particular oath gives some abilities that jive with it. As fighting style pick Blessed warrior, pick Sacred flame as cantrip - that would be your gun. Maybe ask your DM if you can replace save with spell attack for this cantrip to represent you actually shooting.
Good video. I would use Shield Master as the Right hand of Doom. (Which would be a custom made shield.). This will also have a benefit with the high Dex. Shield bashing I found does 2d4 ish damage ( from the Gladiator Monster)
