- In this video , i'm gonna show you how to make a pyrography tool or pyro-pen powered by a Usb 5 volt power adapter . It is very easy and simple to make from syringe needle in just 5 minutes. This tool is used for pyrography and wood burning paintings .

How safe is this? Would it bust/burn the charger?
Probably depends on the charger. Newer chargers probably have a current limiting mechanism, so everything would be fine, but this device would draw all power from the charger, so it would be runnning at 100%. I;d use at least some kind of resistor to limit the current
I did exactly what you did, it get a little warmer but not enough to burn the wood, what's wrong
This reminds me of that time I burned my 18 v charger on a similar project use resistors

Did exactly as you showed, it got slightly warm but didn't heat up enough to do anything
May try a more powerful charger box, maybe the syringe needles were to thick, or even a faulty cord going out.

Why a syringe?
Syringe needles are made of high resistance metal , so they get heated fast when electric current is passed through it.
Why did u use super glue
Bcos it's easy to use and heat resistant.
