Nice shave and comparison video Jmac! The price differences between the types of Feather shavettes baffles me. SS is $100 and the DX is $200 both made from the same metal with minor design differences and both have their own scales designs. I just don't get it lol! 😄 🤷♂️ I do like the SRs and the baby blue scales on the one you have are very nice 😎👌 I can't remember if I said happy birthday to you so, happy belated birthday! 🎂 🎁 Steve

And yeah, their pricing is a bit hard to figure out… I guess they use different materials for the scales, and different versions of steel for the holders, but still… thankfully there seems to be options for every budget thought, and from what I can tell for my use case, I don’t feel I’m missing out in quality with either the SS or SR, as opposed to dropping big coin on the DX. Biggest cause of the price difference is the SS and SR are cast while the DX is machined. When you compare them, you can see the DX looks and fits together better. But that being said, feather sets a very high standard for their casting process. I looked at my SR, fit is still good and the only part I can see the moldline not polished out is on the gimping. Cast vs machined. That's it.

You can get a little more blade exposure using the feather super blades.
That is true, although o dk like how they shave with the Pros or Schick prolines, nice and easy shaves.
