In Windows 11 24H2 it's not too many Significant Changes in UI elements, unlike in Version 22H2, which has Significant Changes for UI Designs such as Task Manager, even though the OS Build Jump isn't too much. But in Version 24H2, Old Legacy UI doesn't Support a Dark Mode, like Win32 Apps. Hopefully later, some Legacy Apps in Version 25H2 (The Next Major Update of Windows 11) like Device Manager, Computer Manager, Disk Manager, Event Viewer, Run Dialog, and Registry Editor (Regedit), have been Redesigned/Revamped/Rejuvenated the UI Design and to match the Windows 11 UI Design Principles.
True, but because of Microsoft’s bad handling at stuff, they would probably won’t rework the bloat that’s in Windows. Hence, 25H2 won’t be significant and won’t probably have much changes from UI design. Don’t believe me? Just look underneath the surface of Windows. It’s simple.
Good video. You missed if you go to explorer and right click properties of any drive the "clean up" option is gone from tools. Also clean up button next to the circular graph is now "details" which if you click brings up the new storage manager in settings. So finding the cleanup is much harder snd hidden within many menus.
honestly i wanted 24h2 to be a update mainly for theme, there is still a lot aspect of windows that down't match with windows 11... it's been 3 years since windows 11 released and they haven't updated entire ui of windows to match the latest version of windows 11
@@Beats-ns3tw yea it did look so incomplete, like the design still has windows 10 design, or the file explorer, because file explorer still looked like windows 10 file explorer
Just a side not, i tried the old trick of blocking internet during install of 24H2 and it installed home edition on a fresh install from the iso. I have wire ethernet but also wifi on the motherboard. So when I blocked the internet at the router windows was trying to log in thru wifi, but I had told it to forget the wifi password. I had to click re try to log in thru wifi over 10 times before it finally let me create a local account in home edition.
Only a few features are unavailable and that's because they're on a gradual rollout. You should have everything in this video by mid-November, most features are enabled for everyone. There are a couple that have higher requirements than others, of course.
The Shared tab in FE Home was never slated to ship with this initial 24H2 release and still has no set release date. This is why I don't mention it in this video. A bunch of reviewers mentioned it for some reason, even though 24H2 based Insider builds didn't get the rollout until like a week before general availability. Voice clarity support is expanded but probably not a "literally every microphone supports it now!" thing.
Are the Beta builds still not on par with this? I've been on Beta for years on two devices and still don't have some of the features in 24H2 like the quick settings changes...
@@scoochaside Beta is still on glorified 23H2, because that release has been getting monthly feature drops for the last 6 months and it's what was current for those months, not 24H2. Now that 24H2 is out there is hope that Beta will make the jump.
