Prison playbook is such an underrated kdrama, the human stories narrated in this drama just stay in your heart. I wish it receives the same love eventually like cloy received internationally.
Far from being underated, this drama is well known and had a very good rating. The director is one of the highest paid director in TVN (along with Na PD)
recently happened to watch it in the middle of romance, comedy, historical and thriller dramas; I still cant believe how I was glued to my screen while watching it. So much love, brotherhood, compassion and antics of the inmates and Prison guards. This show has my heart forever
Korea is not just a developed country, but its development of art and theatre is just amazing. Their theatrical productions are just above anything else in this country. Their sense of humour and discipline are amazing!
A country isn’t a devolved country if that country doesn’t give women the same respect as men, where women can’t be feminist, weed smokers gets more years in prison than rapist does, looks over talent, the pressure in high school that makes them commit suicide, poor people always losing if a richer person is related to that crime,Hierarchy everywhere.
@@JustSomeLunaticW.OAMustache Me too! This, Stranger, and Mr. Queen (even though I didn't like the ending of Mr. Queen, I prefer the ending of the original Chinese version. ) All of them are excellent shows, writing, acting, and directing wise.

@@JustSomeLunaticW.OAMustache It will depend. Spoiler Basically in the original story, at the end the new soul stayed in the body and very clearly loved the king even though the soul had been male. In the Korean version the soul was sent back and they just kinda made this new lore that the previous soul was inside all along and the king had loved her. After watching all the episodes of the King falling in love with the new soul and the new soul also coming to love the king, it just felt like they did all that because they didn't want to say that two men fell in love with each other. So for me personally it was very sad but not enough to ruin the show. The show overall is still excellent. It's just everyone has their own veiws about the ending!
It's like they are having vacation , or say a school reunion vacation type😂😂😂😂😂 ,but with emotional background , every episode was like rollercoaster ride. Want to cry, laugh ,smile and sometimes be "wtf.....", If the kissing and romantic scenes of our 2 MLs and their respective FLs weren't shown I would have thought it was some BL series,with many BL Couples😂😂😂😂😂
