It's so weird coz I felt sad that each one of the inmates are slowly getting release from the prison. Normally, we feel happy for them to be release reunited with their loved ones and community, but for some reason it does the opposite. It's just sad to see the camaraderie and brotherhood of the inmates will end. Also, the good relation between the inmates and the prison guards. Prison Playbook is a must see drama.
Kaist and looney are the funniest, captain yoo and je hyeok are the cutest, min chul and dr.ko are the nicest, jailbird is MY FAV ❤❤ love these prisoners 😂
I never thought that I would be attached to the cast so much. I really love Captain Yoo so much hahaha he was so cold at first but started to be so charming throughout the show. I love how him and Looney always fight. But obviously, they still care for each other. So happy that he get the right justice. His brother and the Lawyer never stop in seeking for the truth. Captain Yoo is so lucky to have them. Looney is just so cute hahaha he's like the baby of the show. No one could resist him. Kaist is just so naughty yet hilarious haha. Min cheol is really the father figure. He have great patience except when Looney and Captain Yoo started to tease him. Dr. Koh is really calm and smart, he always do good decisions among the group. No one mentioned but I'm so happy that Dolbami/Crony became a good person and that he belong to the same cell with them. He was really treated as a friend or prisoner mate and it was his first time to encountered it. He deserved it. Happy, that kid convict was finally out hehehe and working with Jae Hyuk. Jae Hyuk loves him. I'm also happy for Jean, he really visited Ming cheol and promised to build a home for them. Most of the correctional officers are amazing. Like Ltn. Paeng, he curses alot but deep inside he loves all the prisoners even though they did bad things in their past life, a very soft person. Officer Song also, he really fall in love with Captain Yoo after he saved him hehe. He now have a friend!! Sometimes I couldn't understand Warden Na, but then I realized that his just really committed to his job. He's perfectionist and systematic and there are really people like him in the working place. Officer Junho and Jae Hyuk's friendship are really amazing. Love the characters amd story. I just really love it.
the writer shows the real life about drug addicts like looney..they need a great support system to stop using drugs..looney stop using drugs while living in the cell, and handled it very well because his cellmates are very supportive..looney's family should not listen to him, and waited at the restaurant..
That one scene where looney’s mother cried I didn’t feel a single bit sorry for her, they had been bad parents since he was little, even his cell mates (other criminals) gave him more affection and support which is just sad ☹️
Lee Kyu Hyung (Looney) really shocked me in this drama. I couldn’t believe it was him, I’m so used to seeing him play more serious or bad guy roles. He was so cute and adorable here that even when I see him act as a bad guy in other dramas now, I smile because he’s just a cute baby in my eyes. I STAN A VERSATILE ACTOR!!!👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾

I speak no Korean but I feel like all Shin PD dramas have more natural speech than other Kdramas, especially how they break the dialogue sentences. It feels like that's how people should speak in real life.

I watched Doctor John last year and Prison Playbook this quarantine. I just witnessed how Lee Kyu Hyung’s (Looney) superb acting. His roles in these two dramas are very different and he nailed it! Hands down, I was so annoyed at him in Doctor John but now, I love him as looneyyyy

And his fights with looney is always a treat to watch...and finally joon is that freimd who u can live and die for, their friendship gave some major nest freinds goals... I love this drama..totally
I just watched this series and easily became my favorite. The stories are heart warming and the cast are hilarious, the acting is so immaculate since most of them are theater actors. THIS IS REALLY A MUST WATCH KDRAMA

I loved the concept that half of the characters are bailed out and happy and half of them are still struggling. That is prison life for you. I loved the dialogue when kang said"everyone said they will come back and noone ever came" and he felt the emotion when van came to see him. He got his hopes from there.
The characters in this drama are like no other. I especially grew fond of crony, I'm was so happy when they welcomed him into this squad and treated him like a human. He has this innocence to him I can't explain

I love all Shin PD's Dramas, they are very entertaining and really shows a slice of life. You will get hook with the characters and by their bonds and friendships. You will always feel like "I want what they have" kind of friendships. PDnims are also great in castings because the actors also have great chemistry and perfect for their characters 👏

I was so moved by the story of Captain Yu. He is so sweet btw🥰He touched me very much and also the moment that Park's mother who gave her son's compensation money to help Yu. I also loved Beobja. He was like a brother with Kim Je Hyuk and smart.❤ But I felt sorry for Looney.😢😢 Anyway, Korea knows very well from dramas. Congratulations

I was so moved by the story of Captain Yu. He is so sweet btw🥰He touched me very much and also the moment that Park's mother who gave her son's compensation money to help Yu. I also loved Beobja. He was like a brother with Kim Je Hyuk and smart.❤ But I felt sorry for Looney.😢😢 Anyway, Korea knows very well from dramas. Congratulations

This kdrama gave me mix emotions in just one episode😭💜😂 I’m picky when it comes to dramas and trust me (for people who want to watch it) this is the BEST of the BEST! I highly recommend this. Get ready for laughter moments, madness and don’t forget TISSUE. Trust me you need it!💜 Planning to watch it again! Cuz every hour of ep is VERY worth it and I learned some lessons here too.

I've watched up to episode 4, and i would say je hyeok isnt dumb at all. In fact, he's damn smart and kindhearted too. One of the best character in kdrama i've seen.
