I had a bunch of capacitors laying around, a 10W solar panel and a little solar charge controller (PWM) laying around so let's see If I can make a solar cell phone or camera charger.
I know it's not the most compact but its free using some extra stuff I have laying around. And I don't want to be charging my phone and camera batteries off the solar system that charges my ebike.

The main question I have is how many capacitors do I need and now much mush should I restrict the capacitors? Guess I'll find out.
Stay around for part two to see if I ever got this thing working and how.

You could do this using just a usb buck and a solar panel

your prob right, with the capacitor bank I might be able to get a 5min charge in an emergency when the suns low though and I could always use the USB ports on the solar trailer as well. Was kind of a pointless video but shows if this is what you got it can work.
