- I've been doing a lot of venturing this year in search or late winter, early spring, GAME FISH.. Mainly walleyes, and mainly heading east. I got a wild hair the other day, and decided to drive south to the B-Hole of Nebraska in search of some more toothy critters, with on goal in mine. Catch something, cook something, then eat something. I was willing to eat whatever I caught, but.. Luckily what I caught was a pretty tasty critter.

As much as it might sound like an act of blasphemy, when a microwave is your only cooking option it isn't too bad. I dust it with seasoning salt and nuke it for about a minute or so, just until it is cooked through.

As someone who has fished here many times I can say confidently that there are some giant flathead in the falls and when it's warm out you can catch just about everything at that spot

There’s days where you better fish the drift right and you won’t feel them hit it and have to keep the right amount of slack where you don’t feel them and they don’t feel you. Literally all you feel is the rod tip load
