  • Took the New Tfl Twin Cheetah Cat to my local speed Run pond.
    Testing the Octura x447 on both 4s & 6s.
These runs have shown me what areas I need to reinforce inside the hull.

Great job; it is always something, I rarely run a boat without some sort of problem. Like BIG B says, that’s part of the hobby. I have been telling everybody to put more flotation specially with two 6s. I had both sponson’s full of flotation on my UL, it flipped split the front, sunk in a heartbeat. Keep up the great videos. Thanks

Nice boat and a nice lake to run it on.

Personally.. I'd ditch the center tray.
Add velcro to the sponsons for packs and foam blocks to keep them in place.
Big B has made several custom servo mounts out of CF.
That might be a better option than the zip ties.

Great handling boat! With the lipo's in the sponsons, and a bit more forward, you will soon be in the 80's!

Welcome to high speed crashes! If I may, now that your running at higher speeds try to use all of the flat water before you tear it up. Start your run along the shore line and work up to the throttle through the turn before full trigger on the back side. This way you’ll have best chance of not hitting your own wake.

Not to bad, my Cheetah runs 74 on 4s with ABC 1516 props. Mine however uses actually struts not stingers. It will take a 90°turn at full throttle. It was built by OTTO Marine out of Texas. Love that boat!!

Those free batteries seam to be real c rating.
You should idle up to the far end with fresh batteries and wait for your waves to settle and do a flat out run so it’s got no waves to launch off you would get even more speed. The only issue I think you might have is just how hard to pull the throttle on it’s got so much off the line acceleration.
You might try a forward CG or props that have some rear end lift.
Anyway 77 mph in that small area with all that back wash is really great.

Your spot on! I got too excited & hit the gas too hard to fast. Completely different than my mono's & single motors

Was not really hard to guess it would flip going faster, so why run it and taking the risk off damaging it...? Don't get it, but maybe it's just me...
