Even if the game is a pub game, the best way to react to a lost mid or any lane lost at an early game is just to stay calm and not be toxic or not grief. Players who are behind lose the game because their ancient fell, not because their mid or core died 5 times just 10mins in the game. I lost so many games because our cores griefed and cancer chat the whole game just because our mid tower fell early. Smh
@@nobnobnobnobtotally depends on the mmr bracket , the higher the mmr the lower chance of a throw and turn around . That's why you see a lot of ultra high mmr games ending in 12-15 mins with one team giving up , it's cause they know there's practically zero chance of a turn over .
I don't want to get MMR, but I hate when my lane goes so bad the rest of the game loses too. So I appreciate videos like this that help gain an understanding of how to recover from it! I love learning.
Your choice of video topic is consistently the type of Dota 2 educational content that I've been looking for but having trouble finding, thanks for another great video
I don't know the interaction with that and i think it's pure luck (pun intended), but he did decrease the chance of getting bashed by half so that's really a great play
I think a video on drafting would be insanely informative. Drafting is something people in pubs don't pay attention to much at all but I feel like there is a huuge oversight on how important your hero lineup is. Also, drafting is extremely deep and intricate, requiring you to weigh many factors of importance against each other, so some guidance would go a long way =).
That's actually an idea I've been messing around with, it just seems hard to find an angle that people would care about. I have some ideas though, but I agree this could be something interesting if done right. Thanks for the suggestion, it reaffirms that it might be worth exploring more.
Your content is amazing brooo, please keep working on that as much as you can. I see great potential here ❤ I only missed a general conclusion to the video, maybe summarizing and bringing closure to it.
At 12:55, i think you can indeed select enemy heroes, what happened was you took control of batrider and pressed the ability, even the prompt "ability not learned" appeared. I have quickcast on and when i want to Hex a specific target I spam the item key on their portraits and it works
Okay, as promised a long time ago, I tried io. And it wasn’t my jam since my low mmr wasn’t ready for a no stun support and for all the benefits of tethering. But I still appreciate your channel and content for many tips I can apply on my games. I would like to see 101 on positions in teamfights for all positions since I see a lack of quality content regarding this topic. Beside that please feel free to enjoy my appreciation with this subscription to your channel.
Hey I was wondering on what you said on 12:03 about seeing the mistakes of both teams, I understand Nigma's mistake on killing a ward that exposed their position allowing Betboom to have a major advantage in the fight but the next clip you would talk about the Magnus play I am unsure what mistake you were referring for Betboom? unless it was mispoken or I understood it wrong since I assume you would highlight a mistake of betboom after that ward clash
So to clarify, there isn't another mistake in the final clip at 13:13, instead it's a small postive gameplay move that prevented a counterplay against BB and it had consequences larger than the counterplay. It's really complicated how it works but there isn't a mistake
the thing is about losing lane, for example a carry safe laner lose the lane but the offlane get draw condition for the lane on pub games they never play around the offlane and let the carry farm. when people think they should gank the enemy offlane to help carry is a kind of a hot takes rather than taking the fight somewhere else so the carry can farm easier and giving some space. helping the safe lane if your mid had lvewin lane condition or your offlane have a win lane condition, so taking enemy offlane is a must then dragging the fight to enemy safe lane is the next step so the carry can farm and have some space.
7:33 - no, not "thanks to GH's save" which came 2s after RP... He missed combo, because he failed to do standard move on Magnus - which is, after clicking RP, to spam movement in direction you're going to Skewer - to face Magnus into that direction. And that moves RPed heroes in front of you for easy Skewer combo. How could you not know that, being "Titan" - is a riddle only Jacque Fresco could answer
Hello sir Adrian! Won't you leave vods on your twitch so I can start reviewing your support Io games or just have you in my ear during games because I think you have a calming demeanor and voice.
I appreciate it! The vods do stay on twitch (expire after a bit though) but I haven't streamed much recently. I'm planning on streaming much more at the start of next year and I'm looking into multistreaming on YT and Twitch so I can have the vods easily accessible on my YT channel as well.
Yeah that's what a lot of Axes and LCs don't understand, they are scary cause you don't know where they are, so if they're casually farming a lane the enemy can relax.
(Havent watched the video yet, 8k pos3 Ch3erUp on twitch) but what i do to recover for a bad laning stage is farming. Some people think fighting is the best way to recover but you are on a huge disadvantage already, fighting will only make your entire teem unintentionally feed making the game unwinnable, this depends ofc with the hero you are playing with, for example if im playing mars or a strong TF hero even if i had lost my lane, isolating 1 enemy with arena and blind faceit or using all resources will get me quick pickoffs, enemy team wont push 4 v 5 giving my team enough time to farm, get map space and recover(specially my pos 1) in this situation if your pos 1 is a trashcan then you insta lost, also you insta lost if your team keeps forcing fights 5 v 5 when they are 10k net behind instead of playing defensively, for highground oo as i said, small pickoffs with ultimates so it gives you enough time to recover as enemies play behind because one or two of them are dead, you gotta take advantage of their missplays, in case they play together and u cant do the small pickoffs then splitpush, and with good wards/vision you can anticipate ganks, 100% map awareness needed for this
It is a great analysis, but I would love to see more videos focused on SoloQ roles. e.g. how to recover as pos 4/3/1 after losing lanes etc. It would even be great to see educational smurf games as BSJ used to do. This gives more applicable advice to my own playing situations. Would happily donate 2 dollar to participate in these kind of games.
5:09 aww you look like my childhood best friend who lived across the street. Only with beautiful, curly locks. He has a good life, just got married. Hope life treats you as well it treated him.
we are all pub players, we will never find ourselves in professional games, so that's why we need to learn from pros who play in pubs instead of just pro matches because the lack of clear communication and team synergy and understanding
Most of these are hard to apply in a pub match because the lack of co-op from teammates. A pro match and a pub match are completely different. So it's best to learn from pros when they're playing pub matches.
While you're not playing in a pro stack, your opponents aren't Team Nigma either. Not saying these cancel out exactly but some ideas are still applicable and can win you games.
@@Espencer322 I never said it's impossible to apply these tricks to a pub match, bro. The enemy team doesn't really matter much because most of these tricks depends on your team almost entirely.
@@harrellt1405 Really now ? Does 1:43 to 3:12 look like a map awareness to you ? You DO need your team to do it. You could pull off these strats yourself but it's useless without coordinating with your teammate, like that timeframe i point out.
@@harrellt1405the gate gank top requires coordination. But their line up sucks, doesn’t it? Enigma is trash low win rate hero, mk also trash carry. They don’t have tank, and no reliable stuns. I like things that you pointed out in this video and I’ll try to use them in my games, but in my 4k mmr scum opinion, BB draft was just better. Love your videos though:)
When enemy tip me for my misplay, I feel motivated to win. When teammate tip me for my misplay, I just give up. No point trying to win when even my "teammate" against me.
Yeah. No. Too complex for most players to use twingates like that. This never works in my bracket. My support afk jungles midas rush minute 2 and i didn't say anything the whole game and I have 10k behavior score and 4k mmr. I can send match ID (I have 3 recent ones in a row) if you need proof. Your next video should be. How do I deal with a tilted team mate that auto muted me. I think it'll help most of us not this extra complex pulling to have a double wave then rushing twingates then taking t1 since their mid used tp BS.
The problem with pro dota is that the matches take toooooo long + with this huge map everyone is farming forever, very hard to watch it ngl. Every year dota becomes more like a farming sim game.
