However, Ryan has known Maci his entire life and they have been through much more together than MacKenzie and Ryan have, and she doesn't seem to realize that he needed someone to be his friend, and he knew Maci would be his friend at that time.

Nessa said later that she wasn’t trying to tell Kail to sit down because she thought Kail was being out of pocket. She said that she saw that Kail was moving to sit back down and told her to sit on a different couch so that Kail wouldn’t have to be in the middle of the drama, which Kail supposedly misinterpreted.
They had Kail there because Kail and Teen Mom 2 are more well known than the girls on that season of Young and Pregnant. She helped them get more attention.

@@bear6699 no Ashley said it on her channel after the reunion (even had receipts) her mom helped Jade mom while she was strung out on crack and paid for her hotel room because she was homeless and jade is racist and talks shit about everyone but cant say shit to anyone face. Ashley wasn't in the wrong. Brianna told her Jade was talking shit about her so Ashley showed the messages where she confronted jade but left brianna out of the mix to protect her and next thing you know brianna kayla and JADE taking selfies of a night out and brianna and kayla ignoring Ashley so yeah she had every right to be fed up with that shit period. But now the girls are good and talk again.

I saw that too. He isnt her therapist though. He has made it clear in the past that he is just the host of the show, nothing more. But I didn't know why he was holding her hand and not Mackenzie's hand as well. Maybe there was something that happened before it that he felt maci needed the comfort?

He’s done this with others also. He’s watched these girls grow up and what I notice is he will touch an arm or hold a hand when he sees that they are about to breakdown crying and no one else is there with them. I remember seeing him touch Leahs arm once when she was tearing up until Corey came out and sat with her and put his arm around her and then Dr. Drew backed off. It’s only to show support, connect with them and make the person feel more safe/comfortable . Nothing more.
