Today I am rejoicing like I haven’t in a while. Just got out of the hospital and oh how I needed this. Probably untold thousands are rejoicing with me as they listen to the Nelons and my how Glen could sing too.
Glen left us 7 years ago today. My mom passed a few months later. We used his 90s version of Amazing Grace at her funeral. She liked to hear him play those bagpipes. I believe he played them for her in heaven. Kelly sang on his recording of Where Shadows Never Fall. Now she's in heaven too.
I love this song, I can't wait to get to Heaven, sad when we lost Kelly in the plane crash alone with her Husband and one of her daughters and other people that was on their plane, very frightening to know that when your plane is about to crash, I can only imagine what you are feeling inside, I would probably die before it crashes from a heart attack. She was married to Jerry Thompson from 1979-1998. This is where her two daughters are from. Jerry was Amber and Autumn's father. Jason was their step dad, but raised them as his own children. Kelly married Jason in 2001. Jerry died in Dec. 2020.
