My favorite is Eeyore as well, I have a good size tattoo on my upper arm. I’d love an Eeyore soap but I’m allergic to Lavender as well as most trees, grass my Daddy was a landscaper when I was younger. So I was always smelling nature
I was so proud in anatomy class because we were discussing emulsification of lipids via bile in the digestive system and they were like anyone know what it means to emulsify and I did from watching these videos

Random question here,but, lipids are fats,right? So what does bile do to them? I mean,don't we just "store" the fat to use as energy? Or is whatever the bile does to fat the reason why we can "store" it? (I have zero anatomy knowledge, in case I didn't make that obvious hahaha)
@@marielarodriguezureta836 So here's the response to your question: We do store fats. It gets absorbed in the digestive system through the lining of the small intestines. Whenever your doctor mentions, HDL/ LDL and other acronyms like that, those are what are responsible for the absorptions. They are fat carriers once the fats have been absorbed through the lining.
So where emulsification comes into play, has to do with the stomach contents. Contents there are very acidic in order to facilitate the breakdown of food (aka take big chunks and make them smaller). The stomach does all of that through both acid as well as mechanical churning of the food. However, when everything is broken down to bits, it becomes ready to absorb and that absorption is done in the intestines. The body can't just accept the acidic contents from the stomach just like that however, cause the small intestines' lining is too sensitive, so bile helps to neutralize the the stomach contents before it gets processed. Since the stomach doesn't really change the chemical structure of food, more like breaks it up into smaller pieces, this allows individual components like fats to be absorbed.

@@marielarodriguezureta836 Oops! Also realized I forgot to answer: yes lipids are fats. Yes fats can be a source of energy. One molecule of fat can give you a lot of energy (forgetting how much currently) which is why if eaten in excess, a lot of it gets stored. And bile is pretty much responsible for making larger packages of fats (called "Micelles") that the stomach couldn't break down further into more manageable bite-sized pieces for the small intestines to absorb.

It's difficult these days to create soap that won't look similar to another. Shes right and I agree with her that with so many soapers these days, it's going to be common to see a few of the same soaps. What can make them different and unique I think is in the ingredients not so much the color scheme or design. For example is a watermelon or another fruit scented soap, there's only a few ways to design a watermelon soap. We should just support all soaping people instead of being soap warriors.

I also think people can take ideas from other peoples stuff. Like if you see someone elses design you might want to design something similar that fits your ideas. "Copying" isn't always bad.

The soap recipe and any other additives like clay or exfoliants definitely make different soaps. If someone has an allergy to an ingredient or scent in one person’s soap, having other similar designs means they can find something that works for them and not miss out!

As a child, one of my most prized possessions was a Winnie-the-Pooh blanket. By the time I was in college, I hadn't been into Whinnie-the-Pooh for a long time, but the movie "Christopher Robin" came out the summer after my freshman year and I went to see it with my parents. It's an amazing movie, one of my favorites now, and I get teary eyed everytime I watch it. Such chilhood nostalgia for me. Will definitely have to get this soap!

The only CGI reboot from childhood Disney that got it right. I was so scared for watching it as it seemed way too serious, but it was nicely done and the CGI wasn't weird. 😁

It's so awesome that you encourage Will in his enjoyment of "traditionally feminine" things like glitter and gentleness.
I appreciated your opening remarks about not coming after other creatives for creating similar work. I feel similarly (granted, that's not an endorsement of copying). Sometimes there are only so many ways to design a thing, especially if it's heavily inspired by something super specific (like Winnie the Pooh). If I see somebody has a design that's really similar to one of my own, instead of freaking out about whether or not one of us was copying, I just rework my design once my current stock has sold out. Less drama that way, and solves the problem without creating extra tension in the artisan community.

Another idea for pooh bear would be to do a golden clear soap with honeycomb inbeds in the middle so when you cut it the honeycomb is in the middle and on top you could do some darker gold pipping with poohs honey pot inbed and gold glitter 🤷🏻♀️

I always think it's silly when people assume they have been copied. There is no way that someone can design a soap that nobody else has previously designed in some form.

Especially a character like Winnie the Pooh or something like that where it's very hard to not make an obvious design that most people would settle on.
Preach, girl! I’m so sick of the whole paranoia about accidentally copying someone’s idea for a video or whatever and calling it plagiarism. No, that’s just a result of the fact that there’s more than one person on TH-cam and only a limited (if vast) amount of creative ideas that are workable as a concept in its own right and as a video.

Oh my gosh Will is so precious! He has so many similar interests to my son who is turning 3 in May! My son is also obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and is also having a Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party. We're going to make the cake look like a honey pot and then put honeycomb toffee on top to look like the honey (feel free to use the idea if you like it!). LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pooh bear design on the soap. Definitely going to have to set an alarm to buy this for my M.I.L. who raised all of her sons to love Winnie the Pooh.

My mom has always called me Pooh Bear because she loved Winnie the Pooh so much. I even made a low top pooh bear soap with bubble wrap on top to make that honey comb design. I love that so many people can create similar designs and be inspired all by the same thing!

You're lucky with those sweet kids! My first was so sweet that I wanted another very quickly, so I got pregnant and that one was born 16 months after the first one. He was absolutely the opposite from conception! LOL I love them both but that second one has been a huge handful!

We live about half an hour away from Ashdown forest which is where Pooh hails from and my husbands great grandad helped build Pooh bridge (where you play Pooh sticks) 😁 We used to take our kids there when they were little. There's a lovely little cafe there...its very quaint and English 😄 I've definitely got a soft spot for Pooh bear and I love your design 🧼 I've just got to the end, oh my goodness Will is adorable ❤

When I first saw this video, I got really excited for multiple reasons. The first of which being that I love Winnie the Pooh, and the second being that he’s my mom’s FAVORITE Disney character. She grew up reading the books and watching the movies and I believe she even had a Winnie when she was a kid. The best part is this is coming out just in time for my mom’s birthday! I LOVED Winnie the Pooh growing up! I insisted on a Winnie the Pooh room when I was 3 and would not let my mom rest until she painted clouds on my walls to look just like the show! The clouds were very important to me for some reason lol but my dad came home from work to my mom sponge painting clouds on my walls! That was probably my favorite bedroom decorations to this day and I still have the comforter (from the late 90s)!

My partner has such an emotion attachment to Winnie the Pooh and it's super important to her because her mother loved it as well. She sees herself as pooh and her mom as Eeyore since that was her mom's fav. I found her a full set of vintage Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals and she cried when I gave them to her. They sit right now in our glass cabinet with her mom's ashes and her pictures ❤️ we love pooh so much and he is such a comfort.

I have loved Winnie the Pooh since I was Will’s age and I’m a LOT older now. 😂 I even wanted to name my sister Winnie the Pooh when she was born (my parents wouldn’t go for it - ridiculous). Your video brought back a really sweet memory for me. I never read or watched Winnie the Pooh as a kid because my dad thought it was rubbish, but I kinda always wanted to. So when my best friend was moving abroad for a bit during university, she gave me the books as a sweet goodbye present. It was more than 10 years ago and I just realized that soon my kids will be old enough to enjoy her gift as well :)
