As a child of the 80's ( was 10 in 1981) I can wholeheartedly endorse this color scheme. This reminds of 1985/1986 when there was a transition from the bright neons to just a touch darker colors...the same colors, just toned down and not as neon. Those colors also remind me of the black light posters that some skating rinks I used to go to had on the walls.
This honestly might be my favorite soap ever! The swirl makes it look like clouds lit up by the sunset, or some kind of cool nebula. Obsessed! Also, I love a full moon! I really like being able to look up and see details on the moon that you can't see most of the time

Full moon is bulan purnama in my language. My son was so excited to see one. We told him it's called bulan purnama, but being 1 year old he can only said ma ma ma. He then calls every shape of moon ma ma ma 🤣
BE CAREFUL WITH MIXING CLEANING SUPPLIES!!! I don't know if you know this or not but lots of cleaning supplies when mixed can create deadly/poisonous gases(such as mustard gas). Just make sure you read the labels or look up if it's safe to mix certain products together.
This is an important reminder. I alway make sure to keep clorox containing cleaners and ammonia containing cleaners in different rooms so I don’t accidentally mix them.

Love this!!! The stars remind me of glow-in-the-dark ceiling stars when they're not glowing, which is definitely on theme (and would definitely make a great soap if done intentionally as well)

I love having a clean house. My brain feels more organized when my house does. Favorite phase of the moon is definitely a waning crescent.
Didn't know I needed a tiny mushroom dino but now I've seen the light. My favorite parts of this soap are the stars and the shimmer in the body.
Moon phase? The few days after a full moon where it's kinda shaped like an orange lump that doesn't roll so good.

I actually really like it when it's a new moon. I like dark nights where all you can see are the stars (bonus points if the wind's howling), and I have the same problem with my window facing the moon and the light sneaking through the cracks in my blinds right into my eyes as I'm trying to fall asleep.
The shade of blue that you chose to use for the frosting I am in absolute love with! I would love to have a frosted soap with that blue color as the bar and then whatever you wanted on top for frosting..I really can't get over it...beautiful!!!

I like a full moon and wispy clouds! Watching the thin clouds pass over the moon is mesmerizing, the clouds dim the brightness of the full moon so there is a soft glow of light outdoors, and it feels like the night sky is alive
You're son is an old soul. Enjoy this phase, because my experience with toddlers is wanting to bottle their energy and not being able to keep up! He's super adorable, too!

I actually love full moons because they have the coolest effects when you're walking at night - the harvest moons are most visible, when it's cloudy, full moons show the most foggy/halo effect which looks super cool and spooky, and while walking at night, the full moon gives the most light to everything so it doesn't seem so dark! > v
I love the maps in Will’s room 😀 we had a map of Narnia and one of the 100 Acre Wood when I was little, and I always wanted to decorate a room with literary maps !! (And the soap is awesome, too 😁)

Great job per usual Katie! About the cleaning... I hear ya! I use Dawn dish soap on EVERYTHING! Use a little Comet and some Dawn in your tub and toilet and OMG...sparkles!! I wash walls, grease out of clothes, yes, I even put a tad in my mop water with Mr. Clean! I DO NOT know what the secret is or if it's even healthy but that Dawn Dish Soap is AMAZING!

I love this soap. It's very nice. One of my favorites besides the Egypt soap that was in the shop a few years ago. I love full moons, but I feel like it tends to make people act a little crazy sometimes.
I like any of the waxing phases of the moon! there's always so much pressure to do something cool on the night of the full moon, but I like the waxing phases because you are gathering and creating and growing during that time

Interplanet Janet is actually from 1978 courtesy of ABC Television's Schoolhouse Rock. I was born in the mid-60's so when Schoolhouse Rock started in 1973, it hit me at just the right age. I love it and thank you! That soap looks great, everything looks right about it. As far as the moon goes, she doesn't have a bad phase to her. I'd rather do my nighttime road tripping while the moon is bright and my stargazing while the moon is new.
Katie! Use your soap scraps for cleaning. Soapy water, lightly mixed so you don't have to rinse it, is perfect for cleaning anything.
Wow, this soap reminds me of my bedroom when I was a teen during the 90s. I had painted my walls purple, had a black brass bed frame, and glow in the dark stars on my ceiling.
First place always goes to the Harvest Moon that happens in autumn, but honestly I love full moons because you can sometimes get moonbows!! They're so rare but so cool to see!!

Question: is it possible to coat your soap canes in mica before placing them, to give them a mica "halo" in the cut bar? I was thinking if the moon had a gold or silver mica halo to make it look like it's glowing, but would that even work?

I love me some fat crescent moon, like almost a half-moon, but with a piece missing still. But the crescent in the shape of purple imbeds is nice too!
The colors of the swirl are gorgeous, it give galaxy, neon, vaporwave, all the best things! The way they are all in the same tone and brightness and blend seamlessly, I get what you mean about them looking yammy!

Ooh that's so pretty. I'm sitting in my room, no lights, with a fan and the window open (been 30+ today and I don't like it 😩) watching the sun go down and the sky turn similar shades 😊 I'm lucky as my bedroom backs onto our garden and views over the more countryside areas compared to the street. It makes for a super pretty sunset most nights.
Learnt a while ago that when the light fades from blue and the sunset that the grey area gets called colour cancellation as the colours are opposite on the spectrum. 🤓
Off topic, but speaking of cleaning and smells and all that, I have LOVED the new candles. I bought two and I use one while I'm working and I have another by my bed for winding down. They seem to last forever.
Yesss my mum asks me probably like once or twice a year if I want to change my room up bc she likes to do these transformations and loves decorating it’s so cute to watch her get so excited about it so I just say yes when she asks me even if I still like how my room is it’s always good to change it up a bit

New Moon! I'm a star girl, lol. Sometimes you don't realize how many stars are in the sky until the moon is absent and it's STUNNING. Second fav phase is Full Moon because it lights up our whole yard and it is absolutely stunning. 😍

I love a rare Blood Supermoon. It's a Supermoon (huge moon closer to the Earth than normal) that's also hazed by the Earth's shadow that makes it a pretty reddish orange color.

I know it’s kind of early but have you ever thought of doing an advent calendar with miniature soaps. I think getting 12 little soaps would be just so cute!
A clean house does improve mood! Clutter tends to bring you down, but especially in the morning. When you wake up and all you see in clutter or things that need cleaned, it increases your cortisol levels.
Which, as a mom to a 3yr old, I don't need any extra corisol in my morning 😂

I LOVE this soap! This is totally my vibe. The moon, star, and crystal on top are perfect. I like the way a full moon looks but I also like the one you were talking about. All my life I can never remember the correct name and since I was a little girl I've called it a "thumbnail" moon.

I love a full moon. I grew up in Montana and our winters can be very dark and gloomy, but if you get lucky, you might catch a full moon with a clear sky after a fresh fallen snow. It glitters like a billion diamonds and lights up the forest floor. Amazing!

Idk of it would be possible, but a really chunky white or gold glitter mixed into the frosting would look dazzling, like a night sky filled with stars that become easier to see the farther away you look from the moon.
I clean for a living. For mopping, I use CitriSolv diluted about 2mL per quart in a squeezy squirt bottle and I use a bona mop with the washable mop heads and a wringer mop bucket with blazing hot water and a bit of dish soap (if the house has lots of hard floor, otherwise I just rinse in a sink I have yet to clean). I squirt the yummy smelling citrisov on any crusty spots after dust mopping (with the Bona) and then vacuuming the kitchen and let them soak while I vacuum the rest of the hard floor (or carpet if there isn’t much hard floor). Don’t scrub what you can soak. Then I go through with the Bona and rinse the pad multiple times. Rinsing the pad is the key, but if the floor is very dirty, I will often mop with a dry pad after. Sometimes I need a few dry pads.
I do use the green swifter at some houses with very little hard floor, but I use cleaning rags instead of the expensive wet pads which can be rinsed in a bucket/sink. I do use the dry pads, but I can use each side twice, so it’s not a huge expense. I don’t expect them to collect all the debris, I push it into a pile to vacuum. Since I am doing everything at once, I dust the bathrooms (get all the hairs and TP fluff into the center of the floor with my “dirty” swifter duster (I have two, one in my belt on each hip, one is for “clean” dusting and the other is for floors and other “dirty” dusting, the clean one becomes the dirty) and then vacuum that floor, then I squirt the toilet, toilet hard ware, and around the toilet to loosen anything prior to the bathroom cleaning which is done last. I mop bathroom floors last, obviously, but sometimes it’s more efficient to wipe my way out with damp rags.
I use mostly water for most chores. Bleach in sinks with stains or smells. Vinegar for hard water. My bathroom cleaner is a “natural” one that is concentrated but inexpensive, actually works to remove soap scum, and doesn’t hurt my lungs from Maleleuca. CitiSolv smells great and is multi purpose. Used concentrated, it’s pretty powerful.
I just got one of those Galaxy projectors. It's still sitting in the box with the rest of my Amazon order until my sensory room makes over lol, but I never thought of relaxing with it in a bath. Might have to get it out sooner lol 💜

Love this soap. Talking about floor cleaning if you want something all natural you should try Dr. Bronners castille soap. Works wonders. You can use it for everything from keeping bugs off plants to cleaning the house and also even washing hair and shaving legs. It's so amazing! A little bit of it goes a long long way.

I love a gibbous moon. It is just so mysterious to me. Not full. Not quartering, just strange and fun. I think I got that from a book I read a long, long time ago.
