Thank you. I shall very much look forward to watching this later. I enjoy Street running. Sadly long vanished in UK. Thanks going these distances. Much appreciated
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in La Grange, Kentucky, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.
Happy Sunday everyone this is my favourite train location EVER! you really get a sense just how big intermodels are here compared to a car & nearby buildings. Ive never heard of a train with same axle count but different lengths in 2 places! that is so cool. Thank you JT, & how comes Rev Harry gets a shout out? I never get one! 😂 just kidding. 😊❤👍
This is really awesome train action in La Grange KY with the street running tracks and there is always excitement here when the trains go through and you never know what is going to happen here in La Grange especially around the tracks. But it is really awesome with trains, DPU'S, cars, tankers and a whole lot of excitement and this is one of my favorite railcam views. Also with the Super Amazing Live Action Pets Dogs and Cats and the awesome music slide video show take care and have a great Sunday.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
LAGRANGE! AWESOME! nice catches, too. Someone tagged the diesel tank on the heritage unit and put Trump😂. That is a, pretty town. Great spot for a railfan to retire. Thanks for going to LAGRANGE! Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Thanks for the Super Thanks Mark! I didn't notice that until I went back and watched the video. I would like to get an apartment in this town and put a camera on it. That would be cool. I can get to LaGrange in less than 3 hours. I love visiting there. I am coming back the first week in December. Thanks for the help on the gas. Thanks again Mark!
Thank you for your firefighting service, this great video, and the mini tour of La Grange! I also saw, in the background at one point, the Webcam of a certain organization, I won't mention here, doing its thing, which is cool, but you have, by far, the best ground footage! I'm a subscriber now!
How frigging cool 😎 is that you could be shopping 🛍 or sat out having a sandwich 🥪 and a coffee ☕️ when you look round and a huge freight train 🚆 coming down the street, it's hard to comprehend coming from the UK 🇬🇧 😉, how cool 😎 old fire house 🏠, great historical information, the Porsche wouldn't stand a chance playing with a train!!!plenty of carriages of lumber on the auto racks train monster load, how long did it take to pass you?great captures JT,
LaGrange is one of my favorite place to visit. I will be going back in about four weeks for Light Up LaGrange. That train probably took over ten minutes to pass. Thanks for watching!
That town is one of my favorite location that you film from. I love some of the bridges you showcase, but there is just something about street running trains that catch my eye. And I love the look of LaGrange. Thank you for all of the great videos! I love cats watching tv. Thanks for including that at the end.
I am amazed that that 6000 foot long train going 10 mph as the engines passed were able to throttle up to the speed of about 25 miles an hour in such a short time. Massive power from those engines.
VERY nice video!! I really enjoy it when you give a "tour" and tell some of the background of the areas you shoot video in. VERY glad I found your channel years back - you've given me hours of delight.
Awesome video. Nice you got that heritage unit. If you ever get to Middletown Pa. they run an Western Maryland Alco S6 with the original Western Maryland logo paint still on it. #151 The only one left. They run it on the streets of Middletown Pa.
VRF sure captures a lot of car accidents there but not the "right on the street" shot like you get. Always love the street running trains of La Grange. Thanks for the great walk around, enjoyed it much!
Very AWESOME Seaboard System locomotive pulling a double stack train. That old building that used to be the fire department is a very old looking building. Very NICE railfan platform! That would be a good spot railfan. AWESOME old steam locomotive with old passenger car and caboose. I would definitely love to see that La Grange train museum. I saw a North Carolina sticker on the back of someone's vehicle. NORTH CAROLINA here! NICE CSX mixed freight with 2 DPUs and autorack cars. AWESOME train trestle at the end with a CSX mixed freight and DPUs! Good to see the cat and the dogs JT!
It was wonderful to see CSX Heritage Unit #1982, commemorating the Seaboard System as the lead engine on the first train on this video, Jaw Tooth! That was an unexpected catch. Both trains were long trains. In addition to the two trains in the video, you also included some interesting sights in LaGrange, Kentucky. The update on the Courthouse renovations was appreciated. It has been a few months since you last showed us what was happening with the progress on the Courthouse. (Posted on 10 November 2024 at 2045 CST.)
Thank you. Amazing sight seeing those huge trains moving down a main street. Thanks also for the look around La Grange. Very interesting place. Thank you
Great train action! When I see long hood forward I always think the units are running in reverse! Good tour of LeGrange. Sure wish we would have been aware of that town where when we were in Kentucky a few years back! Always good pooch action at the end! Thanks for another great video!
Great video. I had a street running track on my layout for switching short trains to deliver hoppers to the Prince Spaghetti plant, was fun operating switchers down the middle of the street. Hey, great to see the old Horse...
Love this Mr jawtooth nice town to it’s been a while you been this town since maybe 2021 that’s four years since you catch some trains in this area have a great weekend
Love that town there in Kentucky Brian with all the American flags flying, love it….! We fly a lot of American flags here in the Hoosier state too …. I have to say, having run those trains for 42 years, going through that downtown would be a little scary…. I sure would be creeping through there until I got that head end through with all those cars and people who have children with them around….It’s always scary when you run through areas like that…. Great video as usual Brian❤️💯👍 “Smoke Em”, Greg P. S. That fire bell looks like it’s actually a steam engine wheel tire…
It is nice to see this part of LaGrange from your camera angles! I'm used to seeing it filmed from the other direction with a stationary camera mounted on the wall of a building!
Great video! That train sure looked faster than 10mph. I suppose it was once the locomotives were past the sign. At that point there was still a mile of train in town!
Fun fact: those tank cars with the big head shields on each end are slick cars. Meaning it’s the actual vessel you’re seeing. Unlike the other tanks which are wrapped in steel coil sheet metal.
Great video. By the way, this train seemed like it was going a good amount more the ten miles an hour through town so, just for fun, I checked it based on a length of 6,600 feet and a passage time of 292 seconds; he's doing 15.4 mph. No criticism intended -- just wondering if anyone else noticed that the engineer was speeding a little bit.
