Back before GTAV came out, I was REALLY hoping it would get DLC in which you got to play as The Lost, like a sequel to The Lost and Damned. I was pretty disappointed when Trevor killed Johnny :(

Nah you're wrong GTA TLAD was Darker because the motivation behind it are criminal outlaws doing evil and forced to go against their own kind for survival. Johnny being forced to kill his own gang members and Billy then having to lose his recent viva is really traumatizing the most than what Niko went through. 4 was full of tragic and depressing moment's but didn't hit hard enough as to feel as guilty to Johnny's story in comparison sure Roman or Kate dying may have been sad but it didn't hurt as much as having to kill your own friend who you're loyal to in all your life that wanted to kill you and those you know close for the sake of their own benefit.

This franchise as a whole went downhill after this DLC in my opinion TBoGT i felt like was the start of the downhill with it's bright and more wacky tone that wasn't taking anything seriously a step farther as previous titles. GTA 4 base game was overrated and i prefer Johnny's story over than Niko's because TLAD's narrative felt like it was much more meaningful and made sense as street crime drama. 4's story is okay on it's own right but Johnny's story was more engaging because it fit's the GTA mold a lot better being about crime drama like previous entries of the series. GTA 4 focused more on revenge that lacks any compelling narrative such like how Billy Gray's betrayal to Johnny was really traumatizing and hurtful to him so badly because he loses he's friends from it and disbanded his gang in the process.
I can totally vouch for that for the loading screens and the radio stations. However, gta 5's soundtrack is better in all other aspects. The music is great and the way it's played is awesome.
R* really done Johnny dirty with gta v. Gta tlad gave me hope when it ended. I hoped he was strong enough to be able to move on. I mean he quit his meth usage before we started playing, I really hoped he was strong willed enough to not be tempted after the fall of the east coast chapter..

So Trevor just takes a Pibwasser bottle and smashes it against Johnny's head then stomps him until he's a bloody pile of blood and skin. This is why I hate Trevor.

This game was so brutal 🤘 so metal 🤘. I love how all three GTA 4 stories intertwined with eachother.
