@@andrewtatereal3168 RDR 2 ? You mean "Riding a horse simulator" ? Let's be honest RDR 2 is a really nice game, carefully made characters & story, etc... Nice soundtrack and everything but it's a boring game ! A game is not about being perfectly realistic, or it's not a game, it's a simulator, and in the case of RDR it's the perfect example of a western simulator ! I mean when I play a game, I want to be an actual game, not something when every boring stuff from reallife are implemented !
It's the same for GTA, some people really liked the way GTA San Andreas implemented at this time the ability to date girlfriends, the sex appeal level and muscle level and everything, I just found it boring for me, I way more prefer the arcadish style of it's predecessor GTA Vice City for example.
It's all about being balanced, when it's too arcadish you lose immersion, but when it's too realistic you lose patience !
@@K3rhos personally i think rdr2 is very similar too gta4 the world is very detailled the mouvement are slow but realistic the campaign is very complex and slow pasted personally i adore this style of game but i understand that not everyone likes it
@@andrewtatereal3168 GTA 4 is still a really nice game for it's physics, I played it hours to make fun of every ragdolls, taking every bumps on the road with a car to see how it react, the swing glitch etc... but apart from that yeah it's a boring open world, not the city itself, Liberty City is a really nice map I think, even better than GTA 5 sometimes, but boring because there is nothing to do, you get money from story missions but you don't have anything to spend this money on, no "LC Customs", no cars dealers, no barber shops, no tatoos, nothing.
I just hope GTA 6 will be the best of both worlds, not too arcadish but not too Realistic/Roleplay with a world really alive, with a soul.

Good gracious the harmonica really gives the whole vibe of the whole lone wolf rider towards the end when it falls but also makes you want to reminisce....GTAIV was TRUE PEAK R what a damn song

Just because it was based on real events (most GTA games are) doesnt mean its grounded. LCS is batshit insane story wise and is the GTA with the most evil and despicable characters, its not grounded at all. San Andreas was not grounded either, its insane. Grounded means realistic, not based on real events. You can make a story based on real events that isnt told in a realistic way.

You're not wrong about them being more peaceful times 😅 back then when you had a war, soon as it was over it wasn't personal, nobody trashed the other with insults and just moved on, sure you got your regulars but unlike 5 it wasn't toxic and you had fun defending *your* turf.

I played this song during "get lost" while raiding the prison. Played it from blowing up the gate and it ended right as soon as we exit through the gate. There couldnt be a more perfect enxtension remix than this. Nice going 1DERER

Well, I really dislike how Rockstar ended Johnny’s life. I understand sometimes you might need to take an ex-protagonist out and Rockstar had done that before. Technically, they killed Victor Vance, protagonist from VCS. However, they let Victor die in an ambush, at least the way they ended Victor Vance shows some respect to this ex-protagonist. However, the way they killed Johnny really humiliated him and those who like him. Letting a woman who’s loved by Johnny cheat on him and then letting this woman’s lover kill him so easily. This is not enough, Trevor is a lunatic who shall be eliminated. But Rockstar still insists on making the ending where three of them survive the canon ending, which makes how those who like Johnny avenge him become a joke. Fxxk you, Rockstar.
My favorite single player because of the biker war you actually feel part of a gang + its in nyc/nj

My first GTA and I've never played a better story line after that. Sure, the graphics got better in GTAV and TbogT was cute (and nice funky beat) but nothing beats taking out a rivaling gnag with sawn off shotguns while heavy guitars play in the background.
