You do an exceptional job of transforming other artists' songs into a personal, intimate version, without the need to add multiple instruments, flashy audiovisual effects, and various extravagance. Only you and your guitar, you are capable of transmitting so much and more with your own versions. Once again, thank you for this new gem and I hope you continue to maintain this same distinctive character in your interpretations for a long time to come.
Must have been 1993 I took the train from.San Francisco down to San Jose to see Blind Melon open for Lenny Kravitz and it was so cool I remember getting off the train and first thing I see in the station is magazine rack was the new Rolling Stone with Blind Melon on the cover felt so auspicious.The show was incredible because they all had such incredible warmth in their eyes, zero dickhead guy energy, even the bass player looked at me in the front row and smiled in the most genuine way imaginable. It was all so authentic and the music flawless and uplifting ✨️
Covers are tricky, and you really nailed this. I prefer your version over the original, actually. The subdued intro makes it so much more relatable, and your voice gives it some grunge, which is appropriate for the era it was written. It would be cool to have this one on Spotify.

Then I decided to see if you had anything on Spotify. Opened Spotify and funny thing was the last time I had opened it on my computer I was listening to the album Nico by Blind Melon. Anyway, your album on Spotify is absolutely amazing. It would fit in with any of the greatest 60s folk/singer songwriters. I hope you release more original albums.
