Dan is a great idea. Steady racks are great for the garage and bike shops. Clug is cool.

I have 6 Steady Racks in my garage I love them, the only thing I wish I could do with then is be able to change out my Racks on the steady rack to be able to accommodate different size tires....

LOL. I'm not spending $50-$75 to stow my $100 bikes. The Dan is a very neat idea though. I'm pretty sure I can make one myself out of wood with 2 L-brackets to hook the pedals.
RK Coder I use my bike just for daily transportation, and my bike is already 800€. If bikes are your hobby, why do they cost 100$? If biking is not your hobby, just put them in the shed like everyone does.

My possible issue with ted is side loading the pedals that are designed to have force pressed and or pulled vertically. Hanging it sideways off the pedal COULD, maybe pull the pedal off shaft

i use dahanger dan but not as intended. i use them as hangers like for paintings, so i have single bikes on each of my walls!!

Is this safe for the bike pedals and etc? Can something be damaged from this hanging (except falling from that distance)?
My MTB bike is very heavy 19KG (42 pounds) and I worry that something can be damaged.
Good concept, but instead of three separate pieces, he needs to simplify it to just one piece per bike. It would simplify installation greatly, since you don't have to align three pieces just right. It might also need to be adjustable, to account for different size bikes. But if you're never going to change out your bikes, then this is workable.
Now make an old fart version for guys like me that can barely pick up my water bottle. 😂

first thing you gotta do is show her who's the boss then make a spare room your bike room i secured rubber coated hooks from the roof around the room added a dead bolt look on the door all completed and bear frames are safe and since my insurance company tried to bend me over for replacement cost binder of 35,000 to 40,000 my solution was easier on my wallet and i'm able to spend the saving on parts oh and traded the riding with for a riding girlfriend and i let her hang her ride in vault :)

1. я сделал себе подобное из строительного уголка 100х100, и пользовался 3 года - цена в 0,5 доллара вне конкуренции, и место в квартире экономится колосально.
2. когда вы приезжаете мокрый - грязь с педалей и покрышек течет по стене.(делал типа защитных накладок на стену, не помогло)
3. когда вы вешаете или снимаете вел - переднее колесо норовит повернуть и на обоях черный след от покрышки даже если они чисто вымыты.(в итоге жена настояла снять велики со стены)
Хорошо ,что из дома вместе с великом не выгнала )

yes I bought a steady rack not thinking you can't mount it on drywall. kind of useless for me. Clugs from what i hear don't hold when you tire goes flat so the bikes can fall doing serious damage. The search continues.

Im wondering what if my bike weight around 15kg.. If i use wheel hook type rack does it affects my wheel tension or something.. Because the wheel will take all the weight.. I mean maybe its a different story when we press the wheel when riding, but for the rack its pulling the wheel out..

50 is actually a fair price. Go design and make your own complete with a powder coat finish and tell me you don't come close to 50 after design, testing, marketing, and advertising. Many prototypes were made and quite a few folks surveyed. If anything, your thinking is rather narrow minded. Put yourself in the shoes of the inventor and you will understand the work that goes into the products you use. This isn't some scam thought up by some millionaire in a suit, It's a product made by cyclists, for cyclists. Do some research.
