Fun Fact: The Season 10 writers admitted that they really liked Crocker & Timmy’s Dad, which is why they appear constantly instead of other side-characters.
IMO the writers shouldn’t ignore the other side characters just for that just because they like Crocker and Timmy’s dad. The other characters matter too since they flesh out the world. The writers should give the audience what we want not what they want.

I stopped watching after they put in stupid Chloe. So that was around the time Bunsen aired. I ignored that show so hard. I remember scrambling to find the remote when the intro started playing. I wanted to give it a chance bc it was by Butch and I liked Tuff puppy but I really could not get into it. I just watched the commercials and promos that aired.

Man... The Fairly Oddparents looks so weird in flash animation. Is this what that show looked like in it's sunset years? The animation is so unnatural and stilted. It's awful.
Yeah, the second half of Season 10 had horrible looking Adobe Flash animation. I have joked before on how 16 years of innovation brings us crappy Adobe Flash animation in the last few episodes of The Fairly OddParents.

Sadly, this crossover was the only and final appearance for The Fairly Oddparents on the main Nickelodeon channel in 2017 (Minus the reruns of season 10 episodes in 2018).
Wait, when were season 10 episodes being reran. I was watching Nickelodeon a lot in 2018 and I never seen any reruns
@@thestarisntshining On April 2018, Nickelodeon aired The Fairly Oddparents right before the Nick Jr. block (from 7am to 8am in EST) and It only lasted a week. (It was around the days after Easter) If you look up the Fairly Oddparents wiki it says that it aired on Nickelodeon on both 2016 and 2018.
Yeah, because the actual Fairly OddParents stopped airing new episodes on the main Nickelodeon channel on September 16, 2016, although 2017 if you include this crossover special. The Fairly OddParents did briefly return to Nickelodeon's schedule in April 2018, but those were episodes that had previously already premiered on Nicktoons network in 2017.
I seriously didn’t know fairly oddparents made a rerun on the main channel in 2018, at that time it seemed like Nickelodeon hated fairly oddparents cause even when it was still running in 2017 they barely promoted it with other main titles like spongebob and Loudhouse
about 2 weeks ago they aired some old eps on nicktoons. i think its been exclusively on nicktoons lately... where all the good shows die

This crossover would’ve been much more clever if it used the traditional animation while in the Fairly Oddparents world, and used Flash in the Bunsen Is A Beast world to differentiate in a similar way to the Jimmy Timmy Power Hours

It's so lazy. The only reason why Jimmy Timmy Power Hour gets a pass is because they are in different art styles. 2D and 3D.
@@aguy2181also because the first two had reasons to go to their worlds, in the first one, Timmy wished he was in the best science lab in the universe (which happens to be jimmys lab) because he needed a science fair project. In the the one one, he needed at date for the Friday the thirteenth dance and remembered Cindy, thus wishing that he was in jimmy’s world.

I remember Butch saying that originally he wanted to turn bunsen is a beast into a children's book and I feel that idea was better. It probably would've done better as a book than as a cartoon.

To be fair, in the Jimmy and Timmy power hours, Cosmo and Wanda and even Jorgen were around Jimmy and his friends without disguises and nothing happened. Probably because they are from other universe and Da rules don't apply. Just a theory.
I like that theory, since its obvious fairies aren't in Jimmy's world, or else he would have found them, and become a more successful Mr Crocker

instead of show a good crossover , that episode just shows how the flash animation of bunsen and the newest FOP episodes where bad AF, also they it didnt show the extras *important* characters that *supose* to be good but theyre useless as a taxi on Cars universe, just like Poof, Chloe and Sparky
bro when he was showing clips of the hartman crossover I was legit nitpicking Danny's model for flash, also slightly white washing the phantom (maybe it was lighting in the show that made him slightly darker but not the point). It just seems so rushed to air and then trashed right after.

I will always miss the fact that Danny Phantom never had a real crossover. And that when Butch got more creative control he ran it into the ground.
I'm honestly surprised they never actually had a substantial crossover between Danny Phantom and Fairly Odd Parents. Seems really easy, with both being about supernatural beings and from the same person.

The Nicktoons movie was a lie, the idea only went as far as a pitch and when Nick turned that down, the creator decided to "leak" the idea on many news articles in hopes Nickolodien would consider.
They announced that back in January 2016 and nothing has been said about it since then.
I'm not sure it's even possible to tell an interesting, cohesive story with that many characters for the length of one movie and still manage to give each character enough attention to make fans happy. Something as broad as a "Nicktoons Movie" is probably better off never being made.

I think they were trying to capture what Spongebob did in seasons 10 to 13 to have more cartoony, wacky animation but it didn't work out well.

I’d actually be really interested in a longer Jimmy Timmy Power Hour perspective! I’d also be interested in a FOP season 10 review or just a FOP retrospective or review if you ever wanted to do that.
How to make the plot a little better:
Timmy wants a bunch of big things from Wanda and Cosmo. They refuse at some point, and so he wishes to be sent to the best friend ever’s house. Turns out that best friend is Bunsen, who gladly accepts a new friend. Timmy and Mikey compete for Bunsen’s friendship, trying to get the upper hand on each other. I don’t know how well this would work, but it’s the best I could do.
So, kind of like the power hours but instead of Timmy competing with Jimmy for Cindy it’s Timmy competing with Mikey for Bunsen?
I’ve never heard of Bunsen and honestly I can’t imagine watching a show centred around that thing. It’s like a parody of a character.

Jimmy Timmy Power Hours:
-Crossover with two beloved kids shows with kids characters that are completely different
-Written by both of the creators of the shows
-Attempted and succeeded in telling stories that would make sense in both universes
-Mixture of 2D and 3D animation styles. I know everyone complains that the Fairly Oddparents characters look very weird in 3D, but I didn’t get bothered by that because to me that was the charm of it.
-Three episodes, all of them an hour long, all of them telling fun stories. Beloved by fans of both shows even to this day.
Fairly Oddparents/Bunsen crossover
-Crossover of a bad show with a show that stopped being good, consisting of characters that are either loud or dumb. Or both.
-Not even directed by the original creator of both shows
-Didn’t even try to tell a story that would make sense in both universes because both universes stopped making sense of anything
-Mixture of two 2D animation styles that are almost exactly the same but aren’t, making everything seem out of place in both instances
-One episode, 22 minutes. Does anyone even remember that Bunsen existed or that Fairly Oddparents had more seasons than five?

You gotta see it to believe how bad it is. I remember watching this when it came out, and it was SOOOOOOO mind numbing. At some point I lost track of what was actually happening, and now most of it feel like a blur.
I can't believe Butch Hartman made Bunsen, mean the art style doesn't even resemble something he made. Almost like he didnt even care, tho I can't blame him, the show is trash. Also yes Butch bad.
That's because the classic FOP style that was also used in Danny Phantom was done by character designer Stephen Silver, not Butch

Jimmy Timmy Power Hour and Nicktoons Unite are my favorite crossovers. I feel bad that CN missed the mark, but Nicktoons always felt like they had heart and i love hearing people talk about them. The characters sound like they enjoy being around each other, the stories aren't rushed, and they seem like the specials were made with passion
As for the Bunsen one, I have one question that sums up the crossover perfectly.

9:40 in my opinion, that was the worst thing of season 10 for me, I honestly hope poof makes a return in the reboot next month, and there was actually a spin off idea for this show that would be called spellementary school, which would have involved poof and foop having adventures at their school, would have been a nice make up for poof being excluded in season 10 and a few of season 9. you could argue poof was in one episode of season 10, and that was the hype thing for that episode, but they ruined him completely by giving him voice impressions. if he does appear in the reboot they better give him his voice from season 9.

For the rule on fairy secrecy, Mikey probably gets a pass due to Bunsen not only already knowing about Cosmo’s arrangement with Timmy(due to being Cosmo’s friend) but Bunsen himself being a magical creature who is friends with Mikey, as there are a number of magical creatures in the show that are aware that Timmy has godparents and fall out of the secrecy clause.
I was thinking the same thing, just wish the episode used that as an explanation though

The Crossover Nexxus was rushed bc Ian wanted it to be 30 minutes it was cut to 11 by cn. he also wanted to do a part 2 focusing on the villains. The sonic one the refrences were alot but they never interfered every second.
