ABRISHU here. This tank is a hidden gem in my opinion. It's gun is far from bad, it is a decent gun and what people don't consider is the DPM. 5,7s reload i think. Also I prefer the camo net, because it allowes me to stay hidden whenever I want to. Let them pass and shoot them from behind. Love the Krupp Steyr. It's slow but it can hide in dimples in terrain. You don't have fun depression over the front but if you back it in like he did it works great. Great match.
I dont think we can praise the M44 enough in this situation. He recognized that his surviving teammate could be trusted not to derp out, so he changed a very dicey 1v1 with arty support into a layup by sacrificing his tank. 99% of arti players would have been perfectly content with sitting back, waiting for the TD to spot, and 'claiming' the kill.
Really nice to see some less commonly used and often seen as underpowered tanks getting featured, hoping to see some good games in the panther 88, jadgtiger 88 or even the tower 7 german heavyum vk thingy
Props to the M44, you don't see a lot of brave and efficient arty these days. And of course props to the Steyr for bushwanking their entire team to the ground. ggwp
So glad you showed this. I love this TD... it was free Tank Rewards tank for me. It can shoot like a laser though.. and for a sucky player like me, a 2K game is rewarding.
My M56 Scorpion is an equally dangerous sniper at Tier 7. However, I prefer the M56 for it's mobility and because they built more than 300 of them. The Scorpion is a historic vehicle.
Well played to a master in this TD but to me I could not wait to get rid of it after bounce, bounce and more bounces off the armor of what I tried to shoot. Keep up the good work sir and God blessl.
I loved my Steyr WT from the first battle in it, it's not OP, it's refreshingly balanced and has a very laid back playstyle, I feel QB was always a bit too critical of it, with its various characteristics it becomes greater than the sum of its parts.
I don't mind the Waffenträger, however I do prefer the American Scorpion at tier 7, granted it does not have a fully traversable turret (it has a rather wide gun arc anyway). What the Scorpion does have however is much better penetration both on its standard and especially on its gold rounds.
I have this TD. It's EXTREMELY situational. Unless you get to place similar to what you can see in this clip it's rather bad. But when you do - as you could see it can shine.
Ive been using bush and counter bush mechanics and its really fun. Some guy call hacks when i shot at the only visible bush and got a kill Went down on 4 tanks on a flank using bushes and a good heavy spotting them from a sidescrape position

Its one of the best looking tanks in 'W of T's'. I really wish it had a 3d cammo designed for it. Who gives a 'ferro roche' about stats and performance figures that bore you rigid? It looks the dogs you know whats! To be honest, World of Tanks is like golf if you feel good playing with a super duper club you can always beat the best on a good day. Some tanks just have that little bit extra that makes you smile and part with loads of hard earned 'wedge' (get it...wedge...golf... world of tanks!) on the game. It's one of the tanks you talk about at the 19th hole.
The Steyr Waffenträger was atcually the tank that always carry my game... I always makes a lot of credits when playing that tank... I got it from tank rewards a few months ago
Hello, QB. I've got to tell you that i don't even know why this TD isn't so popular. I always think of it not as a combination of E-25 and a Borsig, but as a combination of a Borsig and a Jagdpanther. It is, tbh, better than the M56 Scorpion and a pretty neat TD. It is kinda' like a DPM Borsig, not an alpha damage Borsig. Plus, it is a pretty good money maker since its rounds are cheap

One heavy tank did shot this tank destroyer earlier so maybe this Krupp-Steyr Waffentrager got spotted once before the later parts of the game. It's alright, you are a human and I understand that you may make mistakes.

You can always tell a German tank is made by Krupp. They always have this prototype look to them.

I started playing this game when I was 12. I am so glad I grew up with it. Lots of good memories.

Had this tank on rental for a bit. Boy is it sneaky. Loved playing it, got several sneaky TD missions in it.

Quickybaby, you didn't mention if the crew had the "Concealment" skill. This would increase their camo rating as well, wouldn't it?
I play the console, and love my 3 marked Krupp, it's better than the E-25 in today's meta.
Rule One for Td's, If you can be seen, you can be shot at, if you can be shot at, you can and most likely can be killed!
I have had some great games with this tank ! Great gun... great sniper.... but more often than not, they get you too quick.
Thats my favorite premium TD tank!
