I forgot how much I truly admire Antonio Banderas! I saw the movie with he and Madonna in the Cinema so many years ago and I was mesmerized and had to purchase the CD...until I wore it out!

I watched the movie without understanding the plot, and songs like High Flying Adored confused me as to whether I was supposed to hate Eva or not. But it’s so beautifully done that I’m not sure how much I mind.
The movie makes changes to make Evita more sympathetic. Evita in the original album and musical was more power hungry and the lyrics were much more critical, which added to the Che Guevara-like character in the original musical.

Ganhou o coração da Argentina. Ela mesma veio de baixo e nunca esqueceu e nem negou isto. Morreu jovem, aos 31 anos, de câncer no útero. Che Guevara também é argentino, um médico revolucionário e comunista. Mas, não existe devoção a ele na Argentina.
Cuando canta ( High flying adored) en la película con la intervención Madonna es una delicia. En particular la película Evita es el mejor musical que nunca he visto ( y eso que no soy fan de los musicales) mi otra peli- musical favorita es Sweeney Todd
