    What’s your opinion on the optional extended 4-year warranty through mulberry? Is it worth it

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not familiar with the extended warranty, however, I generally avoid them anyway. I will say I've had my BedJet for several years now and it's still going strong!

    Any mattress topper recommendations? I need a soft mattress but memory foam is too hot. I tried latex but it seemed just as hot and still too firm...

      I sleep on the Bear ProTopper. Unfortunately, it is made of memory foam... Although it's supposed to be cooling, it's not... Because of that, I don't think I made of video, but here's the blog post: comfortsleepsanctuary.com/product-review/bear-protopper/

    I’m curious what temperature you keep your AC on at night?

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in a "desert" climate that cools down at night. I don't run my AC at night; instead, I turn on my whole house fan to pull in the cool night air. I like to cool down the house as cold as possible--it usually gets to around 66-68 F.

    Why didn't you get the JetBed Sheets? doesn't this defeat the purpose w/o the BJ Sheet that actually evenly distributes the airflow instead of making your feet into ice cubes?

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I indeed purchased the cloud sheet with my BedJet. However, the cloud sheet is made of cotton. Cotton is breathable, but it's poor at wicking away moisture. Obviously, the BedJet compensates for this, but I still prefer the feel of my own sheets. (As soon as BedJet makes a cloud sheet of Lyocell or close-weave linen, I'll be all over it!)

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, ice cube feet is a risk. I sleep curled up and turn down the fan to keep the air isolated at the bottom of my bed.

      Mine works fine without the cloud sheet. Temp setting can be fine tuned to suit your needs. Unless you really love having to do laundry the same day you change your sheets you'd need 2 and at $100 a piece that seemed too much even for someone who can buy a $300 dollar bed fan on a whim

    Have you checked the accuracy of the cooling temperature?
    Thank you

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not yet... I don't trust the accuracy of my current temperature-measuring devices. ;-)

    Maybe you can use a duvet cover Instead of buying their sheet.

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did just that! (See my other videos) Haven't used their sheet since!

    I wish they made an air channel that wasn’t a cylinder tube but something more flat and long that could fit between my footboard and mattress so I could put the bed jet in the middle of my king bed

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can use a BedJet with a footboard: you'll need to place the hose at the SIDE of your mattress near the bottom. Then use either the Cloud Sheet (which, yes, has openings at the side as well) or keep your top sheet tucked in around the hose.

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know that's not really in the center... Alternatively, you can purchase a hose extension and place that under your covers, bringing the outlet closer to the middle of your mattress.

      I'm sure you could come up with some type of tubing to connect to the end of the blower and put holes down . They have some rubber tubing at menards that is fairly soft. I don't think you could actually lay on it But I have built one before down the center of my bed

      If you have A Memory foam mattress you could actually cut out a small channel Down the center of your bed and put a tube in

    My feet tend to be the coolest part of my body. The upper half is quit warm. Is it possible to attach the jet to the side of the bed to get better cooling to the back and upper parts of the body. I don't really want to buy the sheet being thats its 109$ not only the my personal sheets are black and gray. Don't want a white sheet.

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are not using the cloud sheet you are free to attach the BedJet hose anywhere along the edge of your mattress, including the side; simply tuck in your top sheet around it. In another video on this channel, I use a duvet cover instead of the cloud sheet. (Assuming you have a square-ish queen-sized bed) you could place the duvet cover sideways, with the opening on the side of the bed, and place it around the BedJet hose.

    this Versus chilipad? anyone out there with Chilipad?

    • @ComfortSleepSanctuary
      @ComfortSleepSanctuary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I considered both. Here is my full analysis of both (written before I purchased the BedJet): comfortsleepsanctuary.com/resources-reviews/bed-climate-systems/
      The main reason I went with the BedJet was 1) the price and 2) advanced programming features. You can get the latter with the more advanced OOLER system but for a lot more $$$. Note that if you have a memory foam mattress (or one with a top layer of memory foam) you may not be able to use either the Chilipad or OOLER.

      I used a sleep number heating cooling pad very similar to chilipad. I hated it. Uncomfortable and never got cool or warm enough. Bedjet 3 is less expensive and works like a charm. Love the bedjet and so does my husband.

    $400 for a fan with a long hose.
