    Before I fill you in on how to set up the BedJet3, just note that every purchase comes with a User’s Manual that walks you through each step. The User’s Manual is about twenty pages long, so allow me to hit you with the need-to-know basics:
    1) You need a top sheet in order to make sure airflow is evenly distributed, and stays trapped beneath the covers. The company’s Cloud Sheet comes with three small openings in which the BedJet hose can be inserted, and I recommend replacing your top sheet with the Cloud Sheet for the best results. The Cloud Sheet is a separate purchase, but comes included if you buy the Dual Zone BedJet.
    2) Once your bed is made, slip the Mattress Mount Base directly beneath your mattress, under the area in which you want to experience the most airflow. I put mine right in the center of the base of the bed, which I found to offer the most even distribution of air.
    3)Then, attach the nozzle to the hose, and attach the hose to the Mattress Mount. The nozzle is what blows the air into your bed, and should rest directly on top of your mattress. If you find the nozzle is too far above your bed, you can adjust the height by removing pieces of the Mattress Mount Base.
    4) Next, place the BedJet beneath the Mattress Mount, and attach the bottom of the hose to the circular opening on the BedJet.
    5) Plug the BedJet into an outlet, put two AA batteries (included) in the remote, and slip the Cloud Sheet over the top of the hose nozzle. If you’re using your own top sheet, tuck it beneath your mattress to make sure the air doesn’t escape.
    6) Turn your BedJet on, sync it to your remote and/or smartphone, and you’re ready to go! If you do choose to sync your smart device, simply download the BedJet App and follow the on-screen instructions.

    The BedJet seems like a great product to help you sleep cool, especially for couples. I wish it was quieter & less expensive, but I'd still love to have one.

      Unfortunately, sometimes you just have to, we're using 2,because the cords are not long enough at all.

    Thank you for your informative review of the bedjet. I have a question:
    I have a footboard that is very close to the mattress so there is no way for the Bedjet 3 will not fit at the end of the bed. If i use bedjet on one of the side openings on the cloud sheet will it fully inflate the king cloud sheet on both sides? (I have not bought the cloud sheet yet because i am not sure if it will fully inflate using a side opening).
    Thank you for your response 😀

    We love our dual v3s, I'm a hot sleeper, night sweats every single night, it's awful. So far 3 nights of using ours, and no night sweats and I've actually slept better, not perfect, but much better, and after years of deeling with crappy sleep, I'll take it. I was disappointed in the cord length, we had to use an extension cord for both of our units.

    My problem is the setting up the remote! We have 2 bases and for some reason mine is working but we cant get the remote to set up to the other base/ my husband's side--- I will hopefully find some help with that in your written part... or in another video. We've had it for about a month and I love it, but this remote problem might mean we have to return it--- I hope not!~

    I like the idea of this, but it seems a bit too bulky? However, the setup didn't look that hard, so that's a good thing to consider.

    Holy smokes this is ugly. My husband got two, and I am not sure I can hide the giant hose and box:( maybe I could disconnect the hose during the day, and hide all the stuff under? Reminds me of a hospital bed:(

    The manual (revision 1.2) explicitly indicates you should NOT use an extension cord with the BedJet!

    • @FlarkeFiasco
      @FlarkeFiasco ปีที่แล้ว

      If you call them, they'll tell you that you CAN use an extension cord, but it should be an appliance-grade extension cord that's rated for the right voltage / wattage. Think extension cords for fridges, that kind of thing.
      Bedjet has a variable power fluctuation that can trip a lot of breakers and cause problems if you don't use the right cord, apparently.

  • @rubysauseda
    @rubysauseda 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    You indicated to use an extension cord but the instruction manual says NOT TO USE AN EXTENSION CORD! So which is it?

    • @fidelbanuelos9601
      @fidelbanuelos9601 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was wondering the same thing. Extension cord or, no?

    • @ghostccc8089
      @ghostccc8089 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t see why an extension cord would make any difference. Either it gets the electricity or not

    • @peckrequentin
      @peckrequentin 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you setup multiple devices to an extension cord they could be too demanding and your extension cord will take fire, which is really unsual. The BEDJET company could be saying not to use an extension cord because the bedjet is higly demanding in energy therefore increasing the chances of blowing up the extension cord. If you only use the bedjet or very few devices in addition to the bedjet there is no risk and you can use an extension cord safely.

    No wonder they don't have an easy to find setup video on their site and thank god I watched this before dropping $600.
    All the marketing "designed by a nasa engineer" I expected actual technology !
    I can make this myself for $100 maximum.
