Not to toot my own horn, but I told you we would lose Brett Rypien. Him going to the Vikings could bite us in the ass. It means they now have a solid backup if Sam Darnold goes down, or just plays terribly. Not happy losing Bates or Stroman either. When you have that many good secondary players, you don't choose a small number in that room on the 53. We kept 1 too many RBs. Like I said before, we were in good position for a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, but Travis Homer wouldn't have made this team if I had made the decision. We also kept an extra DE which is a weaker room. So, if it were me, I would have cut Homer and our worst DE while keeping Rypien and Strohman.

Well it doesn’t matter bc nobody cares what a career journeyman QB does. He won’t be able
To help them with anything. If he actually could every team would sign the practice squad QB of other teams, which never happens.

Very excited Austin Reed is back. Good addition to the mix.

Bears are keeping Reed as a young developmental QB for when they have to trade Bagent next year.
