- Think you can climb Mount Ushba? Or Hiking in Georgia? ✔️ Then you need to watch this video.
From the moment we spotted Mount Ushba for the first time, we knew we had to climb as close as we could possibly get. We heard that you could climb to a ridge from the Koruldi Lakes for the best view, but for this you need a guide or lots of experience. But we gave it a shot anyway... Surprise, we lost the trail pretty quick. When we were so close to giving up, we found the trail again. We reached the ridge and indeed it was the best view we had in the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. What a way to end our adventures in this beautiful country. We will be back for sure!

I was there in early May, everything was white there then, snow up until my knees. Climbed alone with a stray mountain dog. Didn't reach Guli Peak (the top of the ridge) as there was way too much snow and a hailstorm, so I had to turn around, sadly. Tried to climb one of Ushba's ridges from the Mazeri side, with even more snow. Probably the most beautiful place I have ever been.
the view is incredible!! how many hours hiking u need from mestia to reach this view of the mount ushba?
Well at least coming down was easier, heck, I was out of breath by the time you got to the top! LOL
Haha, yeah this was crazy one. We didn't bring enough food, so Ard was feeling sick when we arrived at the village in the evening. But the view was worth it!
