Happy Independence Day. I wish you all the best. As a visitor I enjoyed Malaysia very much. This is a wonderful country. I hope all three major races live in harmony and love one another. Best wishes.

Command of English has gone down from the Rakyat Malaysia. Anyway togetherness is our motto and striving towards excellency is our goal and free from corruption. From a High School graduate. Longlive Malaysia.

The majority who attended are from a single race, what happened to those self-proclaimed "Malaysians" ? Harping on being Malaysians but when it comes to national events, they're nowhere to be seen.

This is a Malaysian national day, we have far more races in Malaysia than Singapore or any other country in SEA for that matter. More than 100 races. Therefore it is not the same in each country. They each have their own. Besides, Malaysian national day is celebrated in all the 13 state capitals and the 3 Federal Territories.
