Nice! Thank you so much! I've been scrolling through videos for hours trying to find a simple way to apply my edible images. You were quick and straight to the point. Karo syrup and vodka... got it. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video I loved it..do you have any videos of printing the images ?? I will check out the rest of your videos, but this is the 1st one I have seen.. Thanks Arlene
Arlene's Creations thanks, I do not have a video on printing the images. I have a dedicated cannon printer that I ordered food color cartridges to use to print. I put my images in a word document and print them out.
Oh Wow, so you can use a regular printer ?? I would love to learn to do this. I'm sure it has to be a brand new one , do you know if All cannon printers sell edible ink ?? If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me where you got your printer and ink ?? Thanks so much Arlene
Arlene's Creations yes it’s a regular cannon that is only used for edible images. You just check to see if the printer you want to buy that they make edible ink cartridges for it. I buy mine from ink4cakes.com
I think you could. You can even use just a tiny amount of water brushed on and that will work to. You just need to make sure it dry completely with whatever you use before packaging.
You can buy any printer that they make edible ink cartridges for. Mine is a canon. You can get ink and see printers at icingimages website There are other edible ink websites as well like ink4caks, and inkedibles
Linda Rak ye i have before you just want to make sure you have a thick border so I’d you stack or bag cookies nothing touches the images while they cone to room temp.
After you place your cookies in a bag, have your images ever lifted off of your cookie and stuck to the inside of the bag? I having this difficulty and can't figure out why?
Cheryl Weise I think it depends on your icing sheets the icing for me has to be completely dry before applying Image. Then you have to let the Cornsyup vodka mixture dry after that before bagging. Also piping a border helps to keep space between the Image and the bag.
The alcohol evaporates out. And if you use any extracts in your icing they have alcohol in them as well. I have used this method for years and have not had any issues as of yet.
It's not that it DOESN'T work - it's that I had to crank up my sound on the computer and on the TH-cam Channel and it STILL was very low. The sound may appear different for you but I mentioned it for you to keep in mind going forward with your videos. But if it works for you then I guess that's what matters. Thanks

Does this become like the icing? Or when you bite into it does the sheet come off whole as well?
Thanks for the video! Would this same technique work with wafer paper images?
Sweets Bakehouse yes you can apply wafer paper the same way

Can you use this method directly on the cookie then pipe and flood around it or does it have to be on dried royal icing?
Yes you could do that.
Great tutorial. How long will the cookie stay fresh after adding the edible image?
I have only tested them for two weeks at room temperature in a heat sealed bag. You would want to test your recipe.
Great tip adding the alcohol to the corn syrup! I have never thought of that! And tyhis brand of edible image is amazinf! It looks like a real photo!

Can I use maple syrup instead of corn syrup? Asking because that’s what I have in my pantry at the moment. Thanks.
I think you could. You can even use just a tiny amount of water brushed on and that will work to. You just need to make sure it dry completely with whatever you use before packaging.
@@sweetshopnatalie6246 thank you
Is this wafer paper or icing paper?
It is what most people call sugar sheets made for people to use to print on with an edible ink printer
Is the vodka for drying purposes?
Nataya Jones yes it thins it down but then evaporates fast.
Hello, I'm a starter "Cookier" 😊
What edible printer would you recommend? Thank you in advance for the tips and time saved
Monica Garcia she told you in the video what brand she uses
will this method work with a glaze? Thanks, great video
Yes it should :)
This was so awesome. Thank you!

Will the syrup and alcohol work for chocolate covered Oreos with a wafer paper image?
Mandy Kinores I am not sure I have never put them on chocolate. Sorry I don’t know the answer.
How do you get your cookies so perfectly square? 😊
So sorry I never saw a notification for this. If they bake up really off I file the edges straight with a microplane after baked and cooled

So cute! Where did you get your turntable?
Jenna Pummer the sweetesttier. She is on instagram
Do I use the same technique to add image to a chocolate frame?
Jennifer Lynn I am not sure, I have never applied directly to chocolate just royal icing or Buttercream. But I imagine that would work.
Can the completed cookies with the icing images on be frozen if you need to make them in advance?
Linda Rak ye i have before you just want to make sure you have a thick border so I’d you stack or bag cookies nothing touches the images while they cone to room temp.
@@sweetshopnatalie6246 , Thank you!
How long for image to dry?
Sorry I never saw this I let them dry for 4 hours. But I live in a. Dry climate. If it humid it would take a lot longer.
Not sure if someone already asked this but where did you find that small turn table?
Fabiola Lizaola the sweetest tiers she is on instagram
How far in advance can I apply an edible image to a sugar cookie?
After you place your cookies in a bag, have your images ever lifted off of your cookie and stuck to the inside of the bag? I having this difficulty and can't figure out why?
Cheryl Weise I think it depends on your icing sheets the icing for me has to be completely dry before applying Image. Then you have to let the Cornsyup vodka mixture dry after that before bagging. Also piping a border helps to keep space between the Image and the bag.
Cheryl Weise does that make sense?
@@sweetshopnatalie6246 Makes sense to me. Thanks
Thanks for the video! I use this method frequently :) #choiceconfections
Danielle Hannah I am so glad it works for you!!

Did you make the cookies or did you buy them?
Ashlee Varnell I make my cookies. 👍🏼
I’m worried about the alcohol because I’m giving the cookies to kids

@@sweetshopnatalie6246 Oh okay, Thanks for replying back.
The alcohol evaporates as it drys...
Yes pretty much. Don’t know of anyone to be affected. I have eaten them. No more alcohol than you would get in extracts such as vanilla extract.
This seems like it would be a good video HOWEVER I could not hear what you were saying
Im sorry the the sound is not working for you. It works on my end.

tamara berry darn I am sorry about that. Not sure why.
Rubbing alcohol?
No it’s ever clear. Rubbing alcohol is not for food.
