I feel like CA has needed a QB like Russ. Not that the rest of the team hasn't needed a legitimate, super winning, LEADER at QB but I feel like CA might benefit more from him but also definitely GP. The difference to me is that GP has tapped more into how he plays more than CA but obviously there's alot more meat on the bone.

@@XMON888 Bingo. He called out the play-calling in CHI: _TWICE!_ Absolutely no one listened. & it was all so evident! Eberflus *bragged about* how he meddled in the offense. This was weird enough when you think what a W/L record he was bragging about.
But _along_ with that, when he was too busy to do this after they acquired Montez Sweat & a new DC Getsy got more control of the play-calling & they had a 5 game streak of increased offense using the same play that made them the #1 offense 3 weeks straight in '22 _BEFORE_ they acquired D.J. Moore.
So obviously, Eberflus' play-calling was The Reason the team sucked! & Eberflus told us this, Fields called it out & You The Fans just jumped onto the hype train & blamed the guy who *led the NFL in offense for 3 straight weeks* with no receiving corps or o-line.
He might actually be élite. But I don't expect any Yinzers to have the ability to see it. Remind me again why y'all thought Matt Canada was the problem all of six weeks before you all turned on Kenny Pickett?

I mean they are always trying to get some hate on JF. Like that fact I see more on bears Facebook pages bad stuff about JF. He not on your team anytime yet now some how everyone hates him yet not that long ago bears players were saying how great he was. So we're bears lying before or are they lying now? Weird yet everyone still believes whatever is said about JF when it's bad. Like they said JF don't take advice and him and foles hated each other. Yet they just said Willson from college has been talking to him and helping him with stuff. So they both said that. So does he not take advice or was it just something with the 1 QB? Bears and the fans have made me not want to watch the bears anymore. 37 years and I'm done with them. Maybe I'll go back when the team finally gets sold off.

You can say all you want about Russell Wilson. But he’s bought in and he is the perfect personality for a quarterback you want on your team. We have a coach that respects him. And all the players are buying in on his leadership. Something the Steelers really needed since big Ben retired.

No lie this could be the best thing for Fields’ career. Russ can teach him how to read defenses and develop into more of a pocket passer. And with dudes athleticism and speed, holy hell he could be special in years to come if we decide to restructure him next season to keep him as a steeler

I'm a Bears fan and a huge JF fan. I'm happy that he ended up with such a great franchise. As upset I was with the Beats trading him I'm just as happy where he ended up. I wish him nothing but success.

Both these qbs carry such dominant and positive aura. Haven’t felt this way listening to qbs talk in a minute in Pittsburgh. You can’t help but be excited
So blessed to have Justin and Russell on the team. I love their approach and attitude toward the opportunity going forward. This seems to be shared with all the new additions. A credit to the coaching staff for this energy and these fantastic personnel moves. Super exciting.

I am sad we lost Rudolph (he deserved better) but glad we got Russel Wilson.
I agree. Rudolph was never given a fair chance mainly because of his quiet demeanor. He's just not a vocal guy which a lot of coaches translate in no leadership. He's like T.J. Watt. Not a lot of talk, but on the field he'll play his ass off.

I think sitting behind russ will do so much for fields. Not even just learning signals and plays. Just how to be a leader. People can say he's cheesy all they want but Russ is the type of guy you want leading your lockerroom. He's still got some in the tank and if they decide they wanna keep fields, i think he'll see good growth and improvement over the next couple years. We don't know if he really is the guy but doesnt cost much to find out
